Went to see her “Nobody Cares” at the Minetta Lane Theater, and oh my goodness. It was absolutely one of the funniest things I’ve had the chance to attend. I am so happy I took this leap and went to NYC just to see this show purely on Laura’s amazing talent alone. I look forward to buying the audible version, and any other shows she puts out.
Without bias, NOBODY CARES is artistry in its highest form. I cannot properly articulate the profound & complex impact of Friday night’s performance. Laura’s agility weaving and guiding us through her raw yet relatable journey, all the while switching our tears to belly laughter and back again (without whiplash!) is unparalleled. The entire show’s book and music are flawless, written by Laura Benanti, music written by Laura Benanti and Todd Almond. Kudos to the entire team. Departing a sold-out NYC theater, overhearing solely positive commentary from a beautifully diverse crowd was a first for me. Seriously, NEVER IN MY LIFE, and that commentary was overheard my entire walk to and while waiting at the parking garage!! Thrilled that the experience will be made available for those unable to attend in-person via Audible.
Laura Benanti is an incredible performer - funny, engaging, and extraordinary. From the time she entered until the end, there was was non-stop entertainment. I’ve been lucky enough to see her in ten shows on Broadway. A true star performance!
Ms Benanti has a great voice and easy stage presence. The sound was over amplified. I would have enjoyed less “Sound of Music” and a few more ballads. Her last number (without microphone) was an evening highlight.
Laura Benanti is a shining star. She has a gorgeous voice and charisma to spare! With her beautiful songs and funny stories, she charms the audience from start to finish. Her hysterical imitation of Melania was loved by all!
This was our first experience at the Aventura Arts and Cultural Center. Lovely intimate venue. Then there was Laura Benanti. What an extraordinary woman -- beautiful, very bright and articulate, very funny and a mesmerizing angelic voice. What a special evening.
Laura Benanti is a Broadway treasure. Not only does she have the voice of an angel, she is hilarious and really engages the audience. And the fact that she is drop dead gorgeous doesn’t hurt. She was on stage for approximately 90 minutes. She had the sold out crowd wrapped around her little finger. she truly was amazing!!
Great show! Laura Benanti sang beautifully and told some fun stories, the pianist was great, and the venue was very comfortable and attractive.
I brought my teen daughter to see one of her musical theater idols. I knew Laura was wonderful but I had no idea just how wonderful! Funny, authentic and so extremely talented. She left my daughter feeling inspired, hopeful and thrilled to be in the presence of a woman she admires so much. And I was thankful and blown away by her. The venue at the Krasnoff is intimate and lovely. Just a wonderful, wonderful night. Thanks to Laura and thanks to the Krasnoff!
Love her! She sings wonderfully. Her sense if humor endears her to her audience. The venue is small & that is really nice.
