Not as good as when this was Catch a Rising Star. No waitress or host playing the piano. The first few opening acts were just ok. The main act was good but not great. One of the acts really bashed on the city he was staying in. I know, supposed to be funny, but it just wasn’t.
I bought tickets to Laugh Factory Sat. night and Elvis Costello & the Imposters Sunday and Silver Legacy cancelled the flight!! I just threw away $300+ dollars on something I did not get to see!!!!!
Jeff Dye was amazing, the Venue is nice, comfy, and feels personable, definitely dug it.
Great evening with Josh, Katie, and Jeff Dye. All very funny comedians that engaged with the crowd, had us laughing, had us thinking, and made us all realize how important it is to keep a sense of humor. Thanks
This is a small venue inside the Silver Legacy Casino. They attract decent acts, mostly out of LA. There is no bar inside the venue and the bar immediately outside is understaffed as it also serves the casino floor waitresses.
The show with Jeff Dye, Josh & Katy was great! Only downfall was we had to leave the room to get drinks and miss parts of the show, which was not ideal. Other than that not a bad seat in the house!
I have been to about eight shows at the factory and this is by far the worst. Usually there’s a host and three comedians, we had a host and two. The host and main comedian were definitely tired after a long week. Energy was sub par and really wasn’t funny. The first comedian was a replacement and was high energy but wasn’t really my cup of tea. The show lasted one hour and they usually run about ninety minutes to two hours. We have always loved these shows at Reno and Las Vegas but honestly this one stunk!
We had an amazing time. The venue is on the smaller scale but that did not take away from the feel of the show. You can't beat it for the price. Most clubs charge more and they push the two drink minimum a lot harder. The owner is great and the acts we saw were really good.

We were surprised at the lack of people who were there, 35-50 and looks like it holds double that. The first guy was bland , only one liners and ran them off way to fast, the 2nd guy was good, and the stopped at any time , but it seemed that was all he did. headliner did way way to much boom boxing into his mic. He could have stopped at anytime but just carried on. The highlight was a patron who was about 85 years old who danced for a couple minutes as he was going for a drink
We enjoyed all the comedians! Very good and I was pleased that they were pretty clean...not a lot of cussing!
You can't go wrong with Brad Upton! The guy hits it out of the park every time I've ever seen him and Cory Michaelis was great too. The host gal (something Poteet) just doesn't do it for me though. It had been a while since I'd been in and the guy who played music, and did some jokes for years was WAY better. Ms. Poteet seems to be they type of comic who's vulgar for the sake of being vulgar (and I have no issue with dirty comedy if it's actually funny).
Great show! Two out of three of the acts were hilarious. However, wish there was a bar inside or table service instead of having to fight the casino customers to get up to the bar.
The night I went had the host and three comics. It was very funny as each comedian interacted with the crowd. It was a great experience.
These were the worse comedians we have ever experienced at the laugh factory. Horrible experience going forward I would like to see who the comedians are prior to buying tickets.
We were in from out of town, needed something to do. Bought tickets to see Jamie Kennedy. His act was just ok, not what we were expecting from him. The 2 stars though is for the venue. Small room, small tables, NO cocktail waitress. We had to leave the show to stand in line at the bar to order drinks. We tried going before the show started, but still ended up waiting in a long line at the casino bar and missed the opening act. The bar tender was all over the place. Told us he would bring us our ticket to sign, but never made his way to us. If we are ever back in Reno, Laugh Factory will not be on our list of things to do.
Our son had just turned 21 and unfortunately got covid. Trying to do the tesponsible thing, we told him to isolate and tried to get a refund. No. Sorry can't do that. Tried to give them to some of his friends but they were busy. Yes, we could have bought insurznce for an extra $25 but the tickets were already expensive. My wife and I weren't going to drive 3 hours just for the show and not being able to see our son. $140 for 3 tickets down the drain!
Fairly funny. Surprised how poster didnt look like comedian AT ALL! Room was kinda small but could easily see stage.
