About

Laufey (pronounced lāy-vāy) is a 24-year-old, Los Angeles-based singer, composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist whose jazz songs are about young love and self-discovery. Raised between Reykjavik and Washington, D.C. with annual visits to Beijing, the Icelandic-Chinese artist grew up playing cello as well as piano and became hooked on the jazz standards of Ella Fitzgerald after digging through her father's record collection. In 2020, while still a student at Berklee College of Music, Laufey released her debut single "Street by Street," which went on to top the Icelandic radio charts. Following the release of her 2021 Typical of Me EP, Laufey was named Best New Artist in Jazz and Blues at the Icelandic Music Awards and hosted her own show on BBC Radio 3/BBC Sounds. Her debut full-length Everything I Know About Love, debuted at #1 on Billboard's Alternative New Artist Album chart, and the lead single "Valentine" peaked at #1 on the Spotify Jazz Chart. In 2022 Laufey was the most streamed jazz artist on Spotify, with 425 million streams across all platforms.

    Lovely show, wonderful artist. The early access Lodge A row 15 seat wasn’t the best view due to the sheer amount of people standing in front (not great) for the entirety of the show. I had to sit down at times to rest while getting a blocked view of the two side screens. Tons of people recording and blocking the way. Would be great if security did something about it.

    Laufey put on one of the most special performances I’ve ever seen. Laufey puts on a show like no other, involves all part of the audience - left right and center. The audience was amazing. Great performance and congratulations to Laufey on her first arena tour!

    Laufey is so incredibly talented and so devoted to her music and performances. The concert itself was SO amazing I cried the entire time and I am still thinking about how magical the whole experience was. Truly the best day of my life. I cannot wait to see her again.     I’m an older person and was so happy to see the younger generation enjoying Laufey’s music. Laufey is so inspiring. The only reason I did not leave a five star review was because of the HOUR wait between the opening act and Laufey. I’m guessing that was so they could sell more merchandise.

    Her performance was amazing. The fact that she was interacting with the audience she had a best stress contest. The morale of everybody around us was uplifting. Her music is absolutely beautiful. She is an amazing performer very talent!! we had the best time ever!!

    The process of entering the pit was less stressful. Everything was easy to locate and it was a smooth process for purchasing merch before the event. My first time in the pit and it was the best. Music was loud and great!! Her performance WAS IMMACULATE, AMAZING, and OVERALL BEAUTIFUL.

    Best concert I’ve ever been to. The music, AMAZING, the set,AMAZING the unexpected sabotage jumpscare AMAZING 10/10 would extremely recommend to anyone that wants to go. My only gripe was that they didn’t have the mei mei plush on sale in the venue. But that’s offset by all the other amazing all be it expensive merch
