Las Vegas pride has come a ways, thanks to corporate sponsors and such. Looked great, the set up. The animals and the families. All lovely. Things to improve, live acts.. it’s Vegas. Get them here and you will get the bigger crowds. Cost of beer? Now that’s just silly. 9 for one beer. Craziness. All things either grow or slow, pride around the world is growing so let’s make Vegas a staple in the event world.
There were only a few vendors out there and the musical entertainment was not great. The VIP had a random giant sub that everyone was touching. Not worth the money at all.
Friday night Fter the parade was ok - but had a blast at Saturday event - loved all the booths and great lineup of entertainers - was concerned about safety but never was an issue - glad I came from Dallas to be a part of it - don’t know how they can top it - the parade was awesome also
Everything was absolutely fun and entertaining but trying to pick up our tickets was a nightmare. No email or order gave any type of address or direction as to where Will Call was going to be. Additionally, when asking those working the parade and festival, pointed us in opposite directions. So we spent about an hour walking around the festival and waiting in multiple lines trying to find Will Call. We finally found it hidden behind a wall and with no indication or sign saying "Will Call" which would have been helpful. But everything was splendid once we got in. Lovely booths, lovely people, and lovely pups.
It was my first Pride Event that I attend. I was so happy because my friends went there to attend and support PRIDE. It was awesome experience.
I am glad the event has chosen a different venue, however. It is lacking in food vendor options, diversity in entertainment, retail vendors and major headliners. Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world we can do better.
