About

Larry Hernandez burst onto the Latin music scene with "16 Narco Corridos," a solo album that he wrote nearly entirely on his own and recorded in one day. Music lovers who go Hernandez's concerts fall in love with the crooner's warm energy, and they say his readiness to bare his soul during performances is his ticket to winning over fans' hearts. Recently, Hernandez released Aca Entre Nos, an album which reached No. 8 on the Top Latin Albums chart.

The Los Angeles native began his career as part of the group Los Amables del Norte, but soon went solo and released two albums: his 2002 debut, Mil Noches, and 2008's Hace un Mes. His third album, 16 Narco Corridos, hit the Top Latin Albums chart, and Hernandez accomplished the challenging feat of having two albums on the Top 10 charts at the same time Since the start of his career, Hernandez’s songs and albums have routinely showed up on the music charts, and he has garnered various industry awards, including Latin Billboard Music Awards for Regional Mexican Airplay Artist of the Year and Solo and Regional Mexican Albums Artist of the Year. This American-born son of Mexico clings tightly to his Latin American roots, which shines through beautifully and soulfully in his music. Hernandez took this firm foundation in his Latin beginnings and wove them into a a successful career, which has led him on tours across Latin America, the rest of North America, and throughout the world.

  • Good performance overall

by Sandy on 1/24/24Terrace Theater - Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long BeachRating: 3 out of 5

Larry's performance was good overall however he was constantly telling off the sound people asking for them to turn the sound up and basically told them off in front of the crowd. He forced several band members to drink heavily, some of which looked like they really didn't want to. He skipped a lot of his songs and opted for Mexican classics which can basically be sang by anyone. I wish he would have sang more of his own music.

  • Unorganized

by Carlos on 1/23/24Terrace Theater - Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long BeachRating: 3 out of 5

Very unorganized lots of people standing around out of their sits, security wasn’t doing anything about it. They still lots of improvement to do, concert was good but people all over the place.

by Marianitaa on 1/23/24Terrace Theater - Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long BeachRating: 1 out of 5

I would never pay to see Larry Hernandez ever again his performance was so disappointing he didn’t sing his songs like he used to back in the day he doesn’t hype his fans…

  • ⭐️⭐️⭐️for Cadetes & Roberto..

by Alma on 1/23/24Terrace Theater - Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long BeachRating: 3 out of 5

I was there to see both Los Cadetes de Linares & Roberto Tapia, great performance by both. Absolutely crossed off the bucket list, i wish they could've have more stage time. Roberto Tapia killed it! & i wish he wouldve performed before Larry & his guest...I would have left, his music is not my style 👎. But the young kid Sebastian was on point.

  • Seats together

by Yes on 3/15/22Morongo Casino Resort and Spa - CabazonRating: 1 out of 5

It was crowded not able to get up from your chair to leave. All seats together from each other. When people pass by from behind will drop drinks and be closed by and spill drinks
