Country musician Larry Fleet's style is dripping with soul.
Influenced by Otis Redding, Ray Charles, Etta James, and more, Fleet is aware of the vibe he brings to not only his songwriting but his stage presence.
Born in White Bluff, Tennessee, Fleet was drawn to music from a young age. It was hard not to be, with White Bluff sitting a mere 30 minutes from Nashville and a family full of musicians surrounding his childhood. It was inevitable that 6-year-old Fleet would start playing and singing in his family's bluegrass band.
As he grew as a singer/songwriter, Fleet moved to Chattanooga before heading to Nashville, something many musicians do to test their chops. After an early publishing deal fell through, he continued working as a manual laborer and electrician to support himself and his wife while writing songs.
His big break came in 2017 when Jake Owen, a successful singer/songwriter in his own right, saw Fleet performing at a friend's barn wedding.
Fleet told Holler magazine that Owen approached him to ask him who he had a record deal with. Taken aback, Fleet explained he wasn't signed and was doing concrete work for money. The two struck up a deal: Larry Fleet would come on the road as Jake Owen's opening act, and if it didn't work out, well, no hard feelings.
The rest of the story reads like a fairy tale.
Fleet placed second on the country music TV show "Real Country," by which time he had a handful of independent singles under his belt, including "Wasted Time," "Working Man" and "Die Young."
His debut single, "Where I Find God," which he wrote with Nashville-based songwriter Connie Harrington, emerged from his "Gospel Song Sunday" series that he developed for his social media and garnered him a solid following.
His easygoing, humble demeanor is also partly responsible for his relatability and devoted fans. He writes from the heart, using his own experiences with his faith, family and music as the inspiration for his writing.
But it isn't just relatability that keeps people coming back for more. Fleet is skilled at writing thoughtful lyrics, establishing the right hooks and mixing his soulful vibe with the familiar country twang.
Stack of Records, his 2021 album, proves he can match wits with the finest writers and musicians in town. Fleet, who co-wrote all of the tracks on the album, exposes his soul, thoughts, and feelings to the degree that only the most talented can accomplish.
A baritone voice and a hopeful country twang make Larry Fleet one of the country musicians you'll be glad you saw live. Get tickets to see Larry Fleet live on tour today at Ticketmaster.
Fantastic show and a great venue. Smaller location and not oversold so people were not crammed in
Larry Fleet is the real thing. I’m not a huge country music fan but do like the old stuff, Merle, Waylon, Johny Cash, Hank Sr. Etc. He writes, plays and sings about things the common man is living everyday. Keep up the good work Larry and please don’t go “Hollywood” on us.
My husband and I had a BLAST!! The best show I’ve been to by far!! He sang to me and high fived my husband! we fangirled big time 🤣 seriously can’t wait for another show!! Thank you Larry fleet for an awesome time!!
Took my 13 year old son and he keeps saying he wishes he could go back and do it again. It was amazing and a memory that will be cherished forever. Thank you Larry Fleet! Amazing show and great venue!
I’m really familiar w Larry Fleet’s music, so to me the show was off the charts amazing. I had been looking forward to seeing him for over a year, and he did not disappoint. I went w friends who weren’t as familiar and they loved the show. Great music & performance by the band. The crowd was as awesome as a drinking general admission crowd could be, most folks were awesome. First time at the Ritz and was great, above my expectation.
The ritz in Raleigh NC. Great concert venu. But Larry Fleet. He put on a heck of a show! 10/10 would recommend! Go see him live!!
Dalton Dover the opener had a great performance. Larry Fleet did not disappoint. He played all the good hits and put on a good performance.
Attending Larry Fleet’s concert in Raleigh was a transformative experience. While I’ve appreciated his songs in the past, witnessing him live elevated my admiration. His band’s exceptional performance and Fleet’s live vocals surpassed the recorded versions. Thanks to this unforgettable concert, my wife and I had a truly memorable anniversary celebration.
I seen Larry Fleet back in 2022 when he first opened up for Morgan Wallen and then last Year in Cleveland Ohio now seeing him again in Philadelphia PA on the 5th of April and he is an amazing, kind, caring artiest and who cares about his fans, band, crew family and more and he is a good cheap artiest to see if you have a budget he is a good artiest singer and more and he is good to see live!
First time seeing Larry Fleet. Tickets her a gift for my husband who is a big fan. We enjoyed the show and the venue. Early access was definitely worth it as we were about a person away from the stage. Larry and his band did not stop and the show kept going which is always great. Loved that he started acoustically on his own. You can tell he really loves what he does! We will see him again for sure!
Second Larry Fleet concert for us. He is a great performer with a great band. His songs are genuine and inspiring. We had 10 people in our party and everyone had a great time.
The show was amazing and the perfect venue to see him. Highly recommend both.

WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The vibe and artists were on point. Larry came back out for an encore and even signed hats for these little girls who were front row for him. He sounded so awesome and really looked like he enjoyed entertaining us. The show was just beyond awesome and was packed from wall to wall.
Larry Fleet put on a great show. I can't wait to see him live again.
