by KayKay on 11/1/21City Winery Boston, I’ve been going to live jazz clubs for some 50 years, never heard of Lakecia. Well I heard her that night. Table up front. This old lady (me) lost her mind, embarrassing herself jumping up and shaking’ her flabby old butt —totally overwhelmed by this beautiful outrageous woman and her hot band. Been lookin’ for her to come back to town! Gonna have to catch her in NY, DC, Delaware? Because her tour dates all over the world have her booked pretty well. Blow that thing, Lakecia, do it!
