    Not impressed

by Lionista on 10/9/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

While I did have fun at the show, I thought that Ladytron was a disappointment. For $30 they could have put a little more effort into their performance. Chances are I will not be spending money to see them again.

Ladytron didn't do anything special in this performance. They sounded exactly like their studio recording, which is a disappointing for any live performance. Unfortunately, they barely acknowledged the crowd as well. They didn't pick up their energy until their encore...and the set only lasted an hour. Overall, they played it safe...which is a real buzzkill.

    Ladytron forever!

by knowbody on 10/9/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

This was a fantastic show all around! Both opening bands blew me away, and I'll definitely be following them more closely from now on, but of course the best moment was when Ladytron took the stage. They were brilliant, as always.

    Ladytron got boring.

by scarles on 10/9/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

Saw them three or so years ago in Dallas-the energy was great and there was a great light show to go along. So I was pumped they were coming through Boston. What a snoozefest. The opening act was confused for prerecorded music before the show starts, the next band boasted a talented drummer wasting his time backing untalented hipster boys not cute enough to skim by on looks and ladytron was boring as hell. No showmanship. No interesting set design. Just threw money out the window to watch them half ass through their set with pretentious hair dos. We left long before they finished. I talked several people out of seeing them in ny and will not ever pay to see them live again. Still fun dance music to rock on the iPod.

I love Ladytron and Sonoio's music but live they were just average alot of the problems attributable to the venue itself. The opener Sonoio sings over prerecorded tracks which still sound good but his stage setup is where he sits and kneels surrounded by lights which is great but the Fineline stage is only 2 feet high so barely anyone could see his performance. Ladytron was visible but most of the members seemed bored. Great lighting but the sound was poor, missed a lot of nuances to the music.

    good show!

by LoveUnights on 10/5/11The Regency Ballroom - San Francisco

Well rehearsed, since the last SF (Fillmore) show. Unfortunately, the new CD is a bit uneven......

    Ladytron was Ethereal <3

by KitsyBee on 10/5/11Fine Line Music Cafe - Minneapolis

Ladytron was so beautiful live. They're set was relatively simple except for their moody and light costuming, and beautiful lighting that conveyed feeling and color super well. The crowd was great, lots of dancing drinking and singing, and everyone was overall incredibly pleasant. Again cannot emphasize how amazing Ladytron was, would recommend any Ladytron fan seeing them live!!

    Electro-goth masters

by Anonymous on 10/3/11Ogden Theatre - Denver

I have to admit, I am biased toward Ladytron. I've been following them their entire band-life and have a soft spot in my heart for them. I've only seen them get more refined and artful through the years, mostly for the better. In this concert they did a nice job of song selection, picking the most 'rocky' songs to perform - not many slow moments here, and the crowd really did like them a lot. I know that they want to maintain their artistic integrity, but the one comment I have is I wish they would rock out just a bit more. They still have a stiff stage presence and don't connect with the crowd as much as they could. But this is their personae, and I fully respect them for staying true to their art - they are artists afterall (they were selling the prettiest concert tee I've ever seen), perhaps moreso than performers.

Ladytron was good, but I loved Geographer!!

by Cecilbunz on 10/3/11Ogden Theatre - Denver

The venue was great, and not too crowded but still full. Both the opening acts were exceptionally good, but I enjoyed Geographer the most. They have an awesome sound and the lead singer has an amazing voice. Ladytron was good as well. Loved the show!! I would totally go again in a heart beat.

Ladytron in fine form with great opening bands

by Tanuki2001 on 10/3/11The Regency Ballroom - San Francisco

Ladytron was in fine form with new arrangements of material from their latest album and reprises of their past hits. The new album is less dance-oriented on disk, but the in-person arrangements rocked. Just goes to so show the scope of this talented band. I just hope they release a live album of this tour so I can have both versions of the songs.

    Ladytron was awesome

by Momberjim on 10/2/11Showbox at the Market - Seattle

Ladytron was amazing. I only rate 4/5 stars because I had to watch THREE opening acts before they came on. Therefore the Showbox sucked on that one and not Ladytron. Ladytron didn't start until 12:15AM on a weekday! As much as I loved them I probably wouldn't go again on a weeknight.

It was great to see Ladytron but their set was way too short. They played for only about an hour and a half!

The second opening act (whose name I could not distinguish from the other acts) was the best of the evening. The main act did not start until midnight and did not perform in an engaging way. In fact, they seemed decidedly uninterested in entertainment.

Great performance. The light show kicked ass. They played all their hits. I also met the band. They were friendly and autographed my album. Will see them again
