    Most incredible show ever

by Neon on 12/15/19Neptune Theatre - Seattle

I've attended a lot of concerts over the years. Worked as a stagehand for even more than I've attended. Ladytron was the funnest and most intense concert I've ever experienced. I can't even put into words how amazing this group and their show is. Out of this world. I don't care who you are or what your music preferences are... They will change your life forever

    Ladytron will not be contained!

by Overoceans on 3/2/12The Fine Line Music Club - Minneapolis

I drove five hours to see Ladytron in Minneapolis. I'd read some bad reviews of their live performances. Boy were they wrong! If you don't like Ladytron in concert, you must not like Ladytron at all because they were nothing short of sublime and I've been to a LOT of shows in my life so I know when a band is dogging it. Helen was a giant throbbing electron radiating bliss through the crowd. Her voice is like butter and its siren pulse was no stronger than when she performed "Mirage". Ladytron is one of the few bands out there who actually love their own music and that intensity is FELT. At the end of the show, when everyone was at their most weary, the crowd raged for an encore and Ladytron came out and did "Destroy Everything You Touch" as if it was the first song they'd done. The crowd went nuts near the end and Helen picked up on it. She backed up, yelled "All right, you guys!" then came center stage and belted out the end of it in one final orgasmic blastoff. When the show was over and lights came up on the crowd, the faces that emerged from the fog were not the same ones that had entered it. Thanks for not letting me down Ladytron!!!

Amazing, as ever. This was like a greatest hits show, with almost all of their favorites and some great new stuff mixed in. The sound, the lights - Ladytron always delivers.

    Ladytron rocked in The Masquerade!!!!

by mbmjcm on 10/16/11Masquerade - Atlanta

We drove 8 hours from New Orleans just to see Ladytron! After reading numerous bad reviews on the venue (Masquerade), I thought they were all wrong after walking in. Not only was Ladytron one of the best shows ever seen, the venue was very nostalgic. Helen and Mira put on a fantastic show.. A MUST SEE!!!!!!! You just can't help but move to their music and just feel it!!!!

    Mesmerizing!

by InLoveWithLadytron on 10/15/11Masquerade - Atlanta

I have been to many, many smaller shows/concerts over the years and this was one of the best. Didn't care too much for the first opening act (sonoio), the second one (vhs or beta) was decent. (Apologies to their fans, I know the opening acts tend to be hit or miss and are all personal taste.) While the tickets said that the venue would open at 7:30pm, Ladytron didn't start playing til around 10pm, so there was a bit too much downtime, but all of that aside, it wound up being all worth it. The band didn't interact much with the crowd (a couple of comments about Atlanta by Helen and Mira later on). The show was mesmerizing! We were able to get right up front without any trouble (smaller show). The Light show was very fitting. The band felt like they were into it, which isn't always the case after doing "the same" show night after night. They were very charismatic and the music was hauntingly beautiful and absolutely outstanding! The show lasted nearly 1.5 hours and there was one encore. I wish I could have jumped on the tour bus with them and never left. If there is a next time, I will definitely go again!

Overall it was a nice venue and show. SONOIO (Cortini) should have played for way longer than the 30ish minutes he did. It almost just felt like a tease. It was really really good tho. Allesandro Cortini rules.VHS or Beta... I don't know how I feel about them yet. The deep bass grooves were nice but I couldn't really tell if the guitarists and the bassist was really playing or not because their sound was muddied up and maybe over powered by their keyboard workstation. And finally after that was over Ladytron played and they kicked so much A$$!!! That was pure sonic candy. They were absolutely flawless. Analog synthesizers, real drums and amazing vocals really makes a recipe for a terrific sounding show. The bass was so consuming and overwhelming the only thing to do was just bounce. The visuals were decent too, like a milder NIN Wave Goodbye Tour.. Worth me coming to NYC from Louisiana for .

    ladytron still has the magic

by Ivotron on 10/10/11Terminal 5 - New York

When they started out I was worried they seemed a little worn out from touring...but as the show progressed the energy came forth and it was one of the best nights I have had in a while.

    Ladytron Terminal 5 NYC 2011

by Gordak on 10/10/11Terminal 5 - New York

Brian Eno called Ladytron the best british pop band today, He's right so far as I'm concerend. What was neat about this tour was Ladytron ditched the guitar and bass to look very much like they did way back at the start of the milenia. This tour fetured tunes from the new album, gravity seducer which like the name is far more sureal and experimental than the Raw early albums or the massivey produced rock out "velocifero". I noticed the sound was much less bass than the last tour (with the band "the faint") This I enjoyed very much, This was the rattle your pantlegs bass, and not the punch you in chest bass of the previous tour. I blame the faint's system for the bass overkill in that show. The quality of the performance was excellent, which makes sense when you figure they did the EXACT same setlist for every show the entire tour. This was a bit of a letdown for me because I was totally willing to go see them another night down in Philly. Not worth it when the setlist is exactly the same. This is why I didnt give them 5 stars, they need to be more daring live if they want to be an excellent live band. Danny mentioned in an interview that this was indeed one of his goals, but it did not translate to this tour enough to satisfy me. Helens voice is the best it's ever been, I think she weighs 85 pounds but Im not complaining. She is a devistating beauty and with here voice the way it is strode around with extreme confidence, totally leading the show. Helen is now a true showman (showwoman for you anal people) she can really capture and excite the audience and lead them along with her expressions that like the songs are very open to artistic interpretation. Mira sounded a bit trebleish, I wonder if her pregnacy had to do with it, none theless I am eternally grateful she toured despite her motherly obligations. She looked fantastic. Yes her faithful MS-20 was on the stage there with her. Danny and Ruben contiue to hover at their rear echelon postions, the guest drummer took the center of the stage.

    Ladytron

by sistermidnightmare on 10/10/11Terminal 5 - New York

Enjoyed the show! Ladytron were nearly picture/note perfect, although could be a bit more active on stage. The opening act, Sonoio was amazing, great songwriter.

    Terrible Information

by Anonymous on 10/10/11Terminal 5 - New York

Coming from Brooklyn it takes over an hour to get to Terminal 5 when you are told there are 3 bands playing even if you are running late you can still make the headliner if you are there by 10....especially on a Saturday night. That was not the case for this show. Either the sites were wrong or a band was canceled either way we saw 3 songs of the headliner when in fact should have seen the tail end of the last band and the full set from the headliner. It was extremely disappointing to say the least. At least the 3 songs we saw were great.

    Ladytron for the win

by Hofflerand on 10/10/11Terminal 5 - New York

I've been a fan of Ladytron for a little over a decade now. Some of their older songs felt played out, but that all changed when Seventeen started up. It felt fresh again, better than the first time in fact. They're a great band and sound awesome live. p.s. Helen is too cute. ^.^

    Three acts were really good!

by theonejuan on 10/10/11Terminal 5 - New York

Sonoio - Awesome. Got to watch him from the top and it's a VERY impressive solo act. Good discovery and pretty much highlight of the night. VHS or Beta - Strong as always. Got the crowd jumping. Ladytron - Pretty sick. They're stage setup was ingenious and entertaining. Quality of sound was outstanding. The band lacks a little energy on stage, but with the light show and sound quality I ended up having a good time and dancing a lot.

    Ladytron

by thekillerkev on 10/10/11Terminal 5 - New York

They were spot on amazing. Helen Marnie--understandably, not the entire band--was a treat to watch. She stood tall behind her mic. Sang the songs. And gave a little shuffle here and there to remind everyone that Ladytron is the definition of cool confidence.
