I enjoyed the show I was wondering where was kid n play cause it do say it on the flyer that they was coming …But other than I enjoyed it
I waited for almost 2 hours to eceb get into the venue but it was worth it. I had no doubt I would enjoy myself because Lady B always takes care of her fans and makes sure things are done right. It was amazing seeing people who I listened to as a middle schooler, as a teen in high school, as a young adult in college come together on one stage and rock the house! Everyone gave 110% and I can’t wait to see them all again!
My experience was great, wall to wall people out side and in, lines 4 rows deep but moving very quickly. People in line very nice and happy. Overall great day . The only thing I would say is that people should be in or around their seats not all around the walk way because its crowded to get where you're going. But had a wonderful day.
Parking is great, because it’s free and not a log walk to the venue. However, solar lights need to be placed at night. If you can’t afford it, charge a minimal amount for parking($5), so you can. Next, I arrived at 6, because they said the gates opened at 6. I then stood in line for 2hours, waiting to get in, with a mobile ticket. This is unacceptable! My first time at this venue. It was a sold out show, so make sure you have enough staff or open the gates earlier, as you see the line getting longer. The weather and the people in line, were amazing, which made it bearable. The venue is beautiful and of course all of the acts were great. The food was good as well, but still another long line, that can’t be helped but after waiting in line 2 hours, it was a lot. Would have liked to get in before the show started to walk around, see the vendors, take pictures, get food etc. instead of rushing to the restroom and then to my seat-so for those reasons 3 stars instead of 5.
Lady B always puts on a quality show, my wife & i try not to miss one & drive down about a hour n a half. Her shows usually starts on time but we were a little disappointed in this one. It took us 40 minutes to find a parking spot and that's because some folks were taking up parking spots just to here the music for free. After we finally found a parking spot we had to wait in line for 2hrs & we ended missing the opening DJ (which we always enjoy) and we missed Roxanne Shante. There was people jipping in line & some folks were letting their friends cut in line with them. By the time we got in we didn't even stop to grab a drink and some food because the show had already started so that was a long time to sit without eating or drinking. I'm not sure if I'll attend 2022 show.
Besides the wonderful accolades and acknowledgments Lady B received, the other unnecessary chatter needs to be reduced. In closing, I had a wonderful time.
It was more of a comedy show a waste of money if it's a next time I'll be outside with the other's
The concert itself was good. Getting into the venue not so much! The Dell has done horrible this year with the entrance lines. Never in my 20 plus years have they been this long and unorganized! Fix it!
Overall the show was great once we finally got in. Waiting and standing in line for over an hour almost two.
The acts were singing songs rather than performing their own raps, there was too much talking, songs performed were cut short and they performed maybe 2 songs each. Terrible show. The Micstrow song was the best part
FROM THE PURCHASING OF THE TICKETS, TO THE SHOW ITSELF...THE EXPERIENCE WAS AWESOME !!!!!!
Greatest Old School Hip-Hop show EVER !!! Yesssss it was raining cats & dogs at times but it was well worth it !!! HISTORY IN THE MAKING !!!!
The show started extremely late which is very unprofessional. Once the show started there were too many stall tactics in between acts coming to the stage. The delays were just awful. The DJ's playing record after record waiting the acts to hit the stage was just ridiculous. I paid good money to see PE, Salt & Pepper, Dougie Fresh, and Big Daddy Kane not to hear wanna bee's talk, the mayor rap, or the DJ play music. I expect the show to be put together better than it was I should have considered the source.
The show was great, even with all the rain. I was glad that I made it. Lady B what more can one say. Would do it again no question.
tell people to stay in the seat they pay for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! stop people from coming to the front standing in front of the front row people. The show was the Bomb Duggy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Despite the rain, this was the best old school show I've attended in YEARS!! Hosted by Doug E. Fresh, lots of PHILLY flavor was brought out on stage topped off by WILL SMITH. Not only did he do a few of his & Jazzy Jeff's classics, he rocked a live version of Ladi Dadi w/ Doug E. Fresh. I wish Schooly D would've been able to really rock a full set instead of the fw minutes they gave him. Salt & Pepa,Dana Dane, Special Ed, Tuff Crew. Malika Love, 3X Dope,DJ Cash Money,DJ Touch tone, DJ Tat Money. ALL TOPPED OFF WITH PUBLIC ENEMY!! Chuck, Flav, Griff & S1W's.
The best show I've been to even in the rain the greatest old school Hip hop party ever
1st Concert I every watched in the rain. Had a great time. Will Smith was crazy as hell, salt & pepper put in work, Doug E fresh is amazing and was definitely worth the wait to see PUBLIC ENEMY who brought down the house.
Lady B's 30th Anniversary concert was absolutely spectacular!!! All the performers gave their best!!! We had a massive rain storm that day and night in Philly but the crowd still supported all the performers by staying from start to finish. The Dell's sound system was SUPERB!!! I could feel the music throughout my body. I'm an old school rap junkie and I'm glad I had a chance to experience such an awesome show!!!! If i could press the rewind button, I would!!!!! BELIEVE DAT!!!!!
