Pro: The show was great. Since she is really just a budding artist in her first few years, I'd have to say she does a wonderful show. The theater was great and had a fantastic sound quality from wherever you decided to watch it from. Her set was wonderful and she played all the expected songs. There wasn't too much razzle-dazzle to it but that is to be expected. She had 4 backup dancers who were very good and the show made the audience laugh plenty of times. For her two costume changes, instead of intermission, she had amusing videos playing that definitely kept the audience's attention. Wish they had a better translator though for their videos.
OOH! And she played her new song for us.
So-so: The show started later than it was supposed to but it didn't really bother us too much; standing in line. The staff was courteous enough.
Cons: New York City is crime infested. Our friends were supposed to join us for the show and were probably the first ones who had even purchased tickets once they became available online.
However, the night before the event they had all of their belongings stolen -- laptops, phone chargers and concert tickets. They were unable to go and because of the nonsense that is the crime in this city, our time was less enjoyable. Would have been five stars if the location were better.
Also, New York was a terrible choice for where to have the concert since a good chunk of KPP fans do NOT live on the east coast (even though I do). I hope there will be a next time for her to join us here in the USA, however if the concert is in the same city, I will not go and I will tell everyone I know to avoid it at all costs. KPP is wonderful but you can show your support of her in other ways, such as purchasing her merchandise.
