    Kris Allen

by roughman on 7/5/10Moody Gardens Outdoor Amphitheater - Galveston

I thought the show was great. Kris Allen's voice is outstanding and what I liked best about the performance is that the songs showcased his voice. Many times at concerts, the music is so loud, it overpowers the singing and the words. But not at this performance. He also was very down to earth and involved the crowd, which I thought was great.

    Love Sister Hazel!

by JAGRoth on 7/5/10Moody Gardens Outdoor Amphitheater - Galveston

OK, the opening act, The 71's, sucked. They were way too loud and we couldn't understand a word of what they sang. They were not in the same genre of Sister Hazel and Kris Allen at all. On the other hand, Sister Hazel rocked, as usual. Kris Allen was great, better than I anticipated.

    Euphoria with Kris Allen

by Kristevil on 7/4/10Moody Gardens Outdoor Amphitheater - Galveston

Kris Allen was absolutely wonderful. He did a great job with all of his songs, but that is to be expected from our former American Idol winner. I would recommend that everyone who likes good music to come see him. The entire night was such a blast, I had an unforgettable time.

    Beyond Incredible!

by Chealsea on 7/4/10Moody Gardens Outdoor Amphitheater - Galveston

I was blown away by the entire show! Though i was not familiar with the opening band, The 71s, i was won over instantly by them. Same goes for Sister Hazel. I bought CDs for both bands. And both bands met with fans in the lobby and signed autographs and took pictures. They were awesome. As for Kris Allen, i have nothing but praise for him. He was an amazing, energetic performer. He interacted with the crowd, sang his heart out, and kept my attention from start to finish. I couldn't look away. The entire crowd was dancing and singing along all night. After the show a few fans waited to see if Kris would sign some things and take some pictures, and Kris didn't disappoint. He got off his bus and hung out with us for a bit, waiting until all who stayed had gotten a picture, despite the fact that he looked exhausted. He's an incredible entertainer, and an all around great guy. He loves his fans, and it shows. One thing is for sure, this will not be the last concert of his that i go to. *Thanks Kris, Sister Hazel, and The 71s for giving me the time of my life. Love you all*

Kris Allen was good, but Sister Hazel was better

by liljmck on 7/4/10Moody Gardens Outdoor Amphitheater - Galveston

Moody Gardens did a great job of moving the concert inside and pulling it off despite all the rain. Sister Hazel was awesome and Kris Allen sounded great too. Wasn't fond of the 71's. Lead singer was a bit strange. Not sure what happened at the end of the Kris Allen set, all of the sudden, he announced the last song, and was gone. It felt rushed, but all in all, great date night with my Hubby!

    Kris is Awesome!

by ejlo on 7/4/10Moody Gardens Outdoor Amphitheater - Galveston

Let me start off by giving The 71's and Sister Hazel their props for getting everyone in attendance all warmed-up for Kris Allen's awesome concert. It was good music all around. From the very get-go, Kris Allen started throwing those little sticks that glow that they sell in concerts into the crowd, giving way to the first tussles of the night. "What's up Galveston! How ya'll doing tonight? Ya'll ready to have a good time?" Those were his first words and then he went off into the first of his performance songs "Can't Stay Away from You." Red Guitar, a remixed acoustic version of Heartless, Man in the Mirror, The Truth, Before We Come Undone, Alright With Me, Live Like We're Dying, and others, including one he brought out just for the 4th of July were all in the setlist. All of them were great! In the end he started throwing things again to a very excited crowd. Everyone left happy, and I was thankful for having been in the front row.

Nobody puts baby in a corner

by kallenfan on 7/4/10Moody Gardens Outdoor Amphitheater - Galveston

Moved inside because of rain? Not awful, but at least make sure your lights work so that the whole stage is lit. Then DON"T let the supporting act play longer than your star! Cutting Kris Allen short because of poor time management? FAIL. See Kris live because he's amazing. The rest? No thanks.

    Kris Allen has amazing talent!!!

by fashionista on 6/15/10The Cannery - Nashville

Can't say enough about the Kris Allen concert at The Cannery in Nashville! Kris was amazing! His voice was incredible! How his voice blended with his band mates was electrifying! Pure talent & entertainment from the first song to the last! The crowd was engaged during each song, singing along and rockin' to the tunes! Kris's personality & core values are evident from the moment he enters onto the stage until he exits! I was fortunate enough to be able to go backstage to meet Kris and he was warm, kind, & genuine with each guest during his meet & greet! We bought cd's in the lobby and he signed both mine and my friends plus a picture! You can tell that not only is Kris an amazingly talented entertainer but that he is purely a GREAT guy!

Kris Allen - Nice guy - Bar Band

    by DISAPPOINTED177 on 6/15/10The Cannery - Nashville

Kris is such a nice guy and very low key. There is nothing fake about this guy. His music and his band is just average in my opinion. Nothing really special going on here. But I do wish him well. He seems to have a faithful following.

One of the best aspects of seeing an American Idol winner is that you know the artist performs well live. Kris Allen did an amazing job and, even though I am not an American Idol viewer, I really enjoyed his music! Obviously he has a great singing voice!! His easing going and crowd-pleasing personality will only aide him in his excellent future in the music business. Can't wait to catch his next show in Nashville!

    Kris Allen was awesome!

by jv1990 on 6/14/10Shreveport Municipal Memorial Auditorium - Shreveport

The concert was amazing. Kris Allen was great! He was very interative with the audience. He helped us sing along and even brought a girl up on stage for her birthday and asked her to be part of the band for a song. It was very exciting. He also came out to the audience and shook hands while he sang. Overall it was great!

    Kris Allen did not disappoint

by Taryn592 on 6/12/10Shreveport Municipal Memorial Auditorium - Shreveport

It was on a whim that I decided to buy tickets to the Kris Allen concert, and when I did, I bought them for my whole family. It's very rare that a whole family can enjoy one concert, but we did. Even with the AC out and with balcony seats, it was a phenomenal concert that I would gladly go back to.

    Kris Allen doesnt disappoint

by jammin12 on 6/8/10Fine Line Music Cafe - Minneapolis

Great Concert, Great Venue. Was a pretty small intimate venue which made the experienceall the better. For $25 you could literally be front row. Asfar as Kris stellar performance said he was under the weather afterwards but couldnt tell through the entirety of the concert. Will definitely try to make another stop on the tour...Go The Truth!

The concert was great. The sound was great also. Being in a smaller venue was better than at a larger arena.

Kris puts on a great show!

by paulafee on 6/7/10Fine Line Music Cafe - Minneapolis

The show opened with Texas' GRO, who were really fun, especially when they played their hits "Goodbye LA" and "Come On". Their upbeat songs were great for setting the tone for the night. The Fine Line was almost full with a wide variety of fans: a couple of children, lots of twentysomethings, couples, groups of friends, etc. It was very crowded on the floor, but there was some room to move around upstairs, which was nice. Kris had a great setlist that included his hits from the album, "Live Like We're Dying" and "The Truth", as well as a mashup of "Heartless", which was arguably his greatest hit on American Idol and "Gangsta's Paradise". It was cool to hear the band do an acoustic version of "Maybe" and "Paranoid Android", which both served to show the great versatility of the Kris Allen Band. Of course my favorites were all from Kris Allen's new album: Bring It Back, Red Guitar, Before We Come Undone, All Right With Me, Lifetime, and more. I was really impressed with how tight the band was and the beautiful harmonies they created together. They seemed like they had been playing together for years. The sound was great from where I was sitting, and they were fabulous! I found out afterwards that Kris was sick and that that was why the band didn't come back for an encore. I was disappointed that I didn't get to hear my favorite Kris Allen song, "I Need to Know" (rumor has it that it was on the setlist along with "Come Together" for the encore), but the songs that we did experience were awesome (I think they played for about 1-1/4 hours), so I definitely left feeling thrilled with the concert experience. I never would have known that Kris was sick...he was really a trooper, and I thought his voice sounded amazing! It was really an awesome show.

Kris Allen - event cool, he was a bit lackluster..

by nova0179 on 6/7/10Fine Line Music Cafe - Minneapolis

LOVED that it was at the Fine Line, fantastic venue to be up close and personal. You could tell Kris was a bit under the weather...he was slightly cranky when we met him. I don't blame him, but come on. Be nice to your wonderful fans!
