The Clayton holiday concert was one of the best yet. The symphony and their guest performers were amazing!
Really enjoyed program. Loved that it incorporated different styles of music and children’s choir and dance teams. They did a phenomenal job.
I bought tickets for my best friend and I to go to the Clayton concert and I had seats two rows back. It was a fabulous show in every way, but being able to see the expressions of the dancers, singers and orchestra was fabulous. I have lived in NY, Houston, and many other locations and the orchestra here in Knoxville equals or surpasses all. Dry Christmas.
The Clayton Holiday concert with Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, Knoxville Pipes and Drums, Four Leaf Peat, Choral Society, and dancers, was outstanding. There was a good blend of symphony, Irish and Scottish music, and dancing. Plus there was a Carol sing a long medley.
Enjoyed the concert, as usual. The seats were great.
This was such a joyous concert, best ever since I’ve been attending!
This was an amazing experience! I want to start a yearly tradition with it! Loved it!
Hadn’t been to the Clayton Holiday Concert for several years and very much enjoyed it! Experience led us to buy 2023 Season Tickets to the Pop series. Looking forward to the first concert in January ‘23. Thank you to all the KSO sponsors and donors who support the Knoxville arts!
As is the case most years, the Clayton Holiday Concert 2022 was wonderful. The Celtic themed program highlighted the vast measure of talent in the area. The concert does a wonderful job getting everyone in the Christmas holiday spirit. The KSO was once again superb!
KSO was great as usual. The Singers and Dancers done a terrific job.
Top notch start to finish!! Particularly liked 12 Days of Christmas. And Hallelejah Chorus was Exceptional!
We parked at state street garage to save on parking and walked to the Civic Auditorium with about 12 min to spare before the concert was to begin. Once are arriving in front of the entrance we were told by a security guard that our purses were to large to enter. This happened to several in front of me and behind me and few people including myself knew of this policy. Seeing that we he had a 15 min walk to where we were parked we were left in a predicament. It should have been stated in large BOLD letters at the top of everything concerning the symphony. What should have been a very enjoyable evening turned out to be very stressful.
brings the christmas spirit...............................................................................................................................
The Tennessee Theatre was a gorgeous venue to host the Knoxville symphony, playing lovely Christmas arrangements and Handel's Messiah. We had a great time!
It was everything I had hoped it would be. I have always wanted to hear The Messiah live and it was as lovely as I’d anticipated. The musicians are so incredibly talented. The conductor has so much personality and is delightful to watch as well. I will be back!’
the Tennessee theatre is a beautiful piece of Knoxville history. A spectacular backdrop for the concert. I have wanted to attend a concert for eight years and they did not disappoint. The veterans tribute was an honoring experience. I was expecting all the traditional songs but I was pleasantly surprised by the program. I look forward to our next visit with the symphony.
Knoxville Symphony Orchestra is consistently wonderful -- in every sense of the word. The sounds are profound and beautiful, timing perfect, full selections to appeal to all tastes.
Highly recommend, the sound they create is emotionally filled with the beauty of ups and lows throughout the symphony! The guest pianist was highly talented which added depth to the first half!
