Set list was perfect -- would have preferred more older stuff of course, but there's only so much you can do in one night. Good acoustics.
KMFDM puts on an amazing show. The sound and visuals were great. They played some classics and some of the new stuff. They have such a vast catalog of albums and I think they did a pretty good job mixing it up. High energy the whole time. The downside was the opener group Chant was pretty lame. I guess it kind of fit with the sound of KMFDM but for me personally it was a painful lesson to show up later in the night. As for The Paramount, the venue itself is pretty good but the drink prices are out of control. $16 for ONE beer. Of course I found out the price after it was poured. Another lesson learned.
First time at Paradise Rock Club, first time going to a show with this genre of music (in my head it's electro-metal, but I actually have no idea what it was haha). I loved it!! The lights were insane and everyone was such a great performer, the audience went crazy with energy. Couldn't recommend seeing them live more ! The venue was also great :))
Chant was having issues because of an electrical problem at the start and had to keep interrupting the performance to do sound tests, but still despite the problems, the entire performance lived up to my expectations.
The lights, the fog, the industrial/metal sound that KMFDM was absolutely amazing at Revolution Live. The duo singer combo is truly unique.
Always a great venue for a show, the place never disappoints.
Met Lucia and Andy after the show. Had an actual conversation with Sascha (super humble). First time seeing KMFDM and my fav concert ever (I've also seen Megadeth, Marilyn Manson, Dope, Slayer, & Korn, among others.)
For the first show in 5 years, wow! Sounded great, looked great. So glad I went. Chant opened up and were really good too.
very good music band, although many people do not know it. they do not know what they lose
Always plays new hits and old ones. Great setlist.
They've still got it! High energy, great set list with a crescendo. The stage presence was pretty good, but somewhat phoned-in at times. I would not hesitate anyone checking out any date on this tour. It is really underpriced.
Did enjoy seeing them overall but have some complaints. Ohgr sounded fine except that Nivek's mic cut out a few times. The drums during KMFDM nearly drowned out everything else. There were too many light boards for such a small venue too. They blinded me especially for the first few songs. Either I was seeing nothing but glare or the ghost effect when they weren't on.
When KMFDM came out and started playing, it was like getting slapped it the face. (in a good way) They were super intense, had great sound, a great playlist, incredible stage presence, and a great visual setup. I came home, and immediately bought a ticket for another date on their tour. So yeah, I'm going to spend a few hundred bucks on a plane ticket and hotel, just to see them again.
Although Lord of the Lost had visa troubles and couldn't get in, I was still really pleased with this show. OhGr and his band were as weird as I would have hoped, and his set was amazing. KMFDM played a great set as well, mostly songs from the new album but a few classics as well (WWIII, Animal, Amnesia, Hau Ruck). KMFDM's lighting was *really* fun, and everybody in the crowd was amped and having a great time. Masq's new venue is cool - not as cool as the old one, but still a good fit for them.
Amazing show, great sound quality and hospitality at the masquerade
KMFDM was amazing as always. Never heard of ohGr before that night but they were awesome too! I went home and downloaded some of their stuff. Would love to see them play together again!!!
This is hands down one of the best shows I have ever been to. Triple encore was epic. Also met a lot of great fellow rockers.
Fantastic show at a Fantastic Venue. Thank you KMFDM for coming through STL once again and hope to see you next tour.
Kmfdm always puts in an amazing show. Don't miss the show!
