KFMDM absolutely "Let Go"during this show. They rocked, and the older songs they played like Go To Hell and Godlike were a beautiful change from the newer ones on Let Go and Hyena. My wife and I made the 3-hour trip to see them in Baltimore. To be clear, KMFDM deserves 6 out of 5 stars.
The Baltimore Soundstage, however, deserves maybe a 3 at best. Security and entry was fine, but as soon as we got inside, there was nowhere to go. We did get there after the opener performed, but I figured there would at least be an opportunity to scope out a good spot between sets. However, the place was packed, and the lighting was too dim to try to find anywhere else to stand other than 20 feet from the door. There was virtually no security that we could see anywhere inside, which was a little concerning, and even to try to go to the bar to get a drink (alcohol or just a soda) appeared to be a monumental challenge with all of the people there. My wife is only 5' tall as well, so it was very difficult for her to see anything. We might have enjoyed it more if perhaps the stage were elevated a bit more or there was more lighting where we could navigate to a better vantage point. I've been to plenty of venues in the Pennsylvania/Maryland/New Jersey/New York area, and this was not one of the best by any means.
