Received email asking us to arrive early. Didn't get to enter the theater until 5 minutes before the show was about to start. Near the end another technical difficulty that delayed the show. I may have to see it again sometime.
I loved it so much, planning on seeing it on San Francisco in December! Loved the music and cast!
The venue at ASU is wonderful, there truly are no bad seats even though we prefer middle of the row. Opening night as all openings a few glitches nothing major by any means. The play its self very well executed and the costumes very vivid. I would highly recommend this play and the not so subtle references are definitely worth more than a thought. Some people can be quite closed minded, this may be a way to learn to see around things.
Great musical! It was upbeat and fun! The actors were great and so were the songs.
Wonderful, thoughtful show, with great production value and scads of talent. The choreography was nuanced and funny as well as being dazzling at the right moments. The singing from this cast was superb. And I especially appreciated the use of their set pieces, creating a sense of the time, while providing resourceful and creative use of each set piece. The slower songs, were touching, and the depth of emotion provided by the actors meant that the show was not "slowed down" but rather deepened. Beautiful
Excellent cast, staging, music. Definitely recommend.. Poor seats but I chose them.
