Saw the Orginal show here in chicago. Great, this one was as good, Lola, could have been stronger, first part. Second art all was great. How do those big guys dance in heels, how many hours of rehearsal? Glad i got to see it again, hope they ( tour) comes back again
Told a story that should inspire people not to judge others and be yourself!
Not to miss! Had me laughing, crying and wanting dance and when it was over...I wanted to see it again!

We really enjoyed Kinky Boots! The songs were all excellent and memorable and the story was endearing. Great message without being preachy. Lola and her Angels were all superb!
My wife and I saw Kinky Boots about 18 months ago on Broadway and we both really enjoyed enjoyed it. When I saw it was touring for one week in Chicago where we live, I immediately decided to buy tickets and bring our three young adult children. Everyone really enjoyed themselves with some mentions of how the message of the play was a big part of its success.
The actors were excellent as well as the music. It was funny, entertaining and maybe with a great message as well. My family and I were happy we were able to see it.
This troupes performance was absolutely amazing! The musical itself is always a favorite, but this group really made it their own! I'm sad they will only be here for such a short time so I won't have a chance to make it again! Congrats on a job well done!

I got the tickets in November for our Anniversary in January.. could not have been more pleased with the show.. great venue and exceptional performances.
I really didn't have a preconceived notion of Kinky Boot's story line so I was surprised to find a deeper message emerge. And the message is on target for today's times - be accepting not judgmental. One never knows what's going on in other's lives. LOLA was fantastic! Set decoration, costumes, singing, acting. All delightfully wonderful. I braved 0 degree temperatures to attend and was so glad I did. A wonderful night of entertainment.
Great cast, especially the two leads. Musical score was, of course, excellent.
I have seen it three times once in NYC and twice in Chicago and would go back again today. I generally bring folks who haven't seen it and they all love it.

The Palace Theatre is a wonderful venue for a high energy show filled with dynamic singing, unbelievable dancing, adorable and intriguing costumes, and amazing multipurpose sets. The only shortcoming was difficulty in hearing spoken lines apparently due to the acoustical challenges of the stage and theatre. We recommended this to other visitors at the Blackstone Hotel as a go to for Saturday or Sunday!
Just saw this musical for the second time at the incredible Cadillac Palace Theatre. Special bit of history surrounds Kinky Boots and Chicago since it debuted here in 2012 (at a different venue). The cast was phenomenal and the crowd was super enthusiastic which made for a great evening. Great message, an incredible performance and a standing ovation for everyone involved in this 2019 Kinky Boots production!
The theater was lovingly but in the day and age, they should vastly improved the sound. Kinky Boots is very fun.
