kings of chaos
by Insayne on 5/18/15Hard Rock Live - HollywoodA show I would go see again for sure. Bravo Hollywood Hard rock. I'm an old die hard for mains stream rock and roll. I was impressed with how strong Glen Hughes voice still is. The first time I saw him with Trapeze in the 70's I said this man would be a voice to reckon with. I would have like to here some of the Trapeze stuff, but I settled for the Deep Purple stint. Robin Zander was in beautiful shape and enjoyed the Cheap Trick music to start off the show. I think Billy Gibbons was a little out of sorts. Either he was off key or the band was, because didn't sound right. But on the next go around with him everyone was in sync. Steve Stevens was magnificent, he did not get enough accolades. Can't wait to see him again with Billy Idol. Bottom line if you love ZZ Top, Deep Purple, Cheap Trick and a little less know Guns N Roses then you should go see this show.
