    Outstanding !!

by Alberg on 12/20/16The Wellmont Theater - Montclair

The concert was fabulous,....enjoyed it thoroughly. The "band" was great and the set list everything you might want to hear from any of the bands represented. There was only one flub and that was on Billy Idol's White Wedding but everything else was done really well. Steve Stevens was very impressive as was the rest of the musicians, but Billy Gibbons stole the show.......

Kings of Chaos ROCKED the house! Excellent show. Can't say the same about the Wellmont Theatre. People were not allowed to go to their seats until 7:55 for a show with an opening act scheduled to begin at 8PM. They said it was due to the late sound check. My see on the right side of the loge, Row AA seat 2 was an obstructed view seat even though it did NOT say that on the ticket. There was a railing in front of me blocking part of my view of half the stage(and I am 6 foot 2 inches tall so it had nothing to do with being short).

K.o.C. Rocked the House (of Blues)!

by VelcroNinja on 12/12/16House of Blues Las Vegas - Las Vegas

What a great show! First off, Franky Perez was the best opening act I've seen in years, then to find out he's a local boy really made my night. The Kings were terrific. Corey and Chester totally nailed the lyrics to all my favorites. Having them play so many of my favorite Cult, Billy Idol, ZZ Top, STP and Velvet Revolver songs was amazing. Robert, Steve and Billy jammed all night. I think Billy Duffy was out for every song but one. Can't really say enough about Billy Gibbons, still rock'n it!! Of course, huge props are well deserved for Matt Sorum for having the foresight in bringing these rock gods together on one stage. Totally surprised by Matt Sorum busting out Ace of Spades! What a show!!

    Kings Of Chaos

by JeffV66 on 12/5/16House of Blues Las Vegas - Las Vegas

I went to the opening show at House of Blues Mandalay Bay and couldn't believe how great they sounded - Matt Sorum put this show together and they delivered. Toward the end of the show I realized that I was standing next to Rickey Medlocke - I asked him why he wasn't on stage and he told me he was a "fan" tonight too. If you are near any of the remaining shows and a fan of any artists playing you have to see this show. thanks for concept Mr Sorum

    Great Show!

by Stakk on 11/1/15The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Robin Zander sounded great!! Bach sounded good and the band was awesome (Steve Stevens seemed to have a little trouble with the Sweet Child O' Mine intro). Avoid first row in the mezzanine level at Ceasars Windsor- there is a walkway there which leads to the washrooms so your view is interrupted continuously by passers-by.

    What a GNR night !!

by Redvoodooman on 8/11/15The Fillmore - San Francisco

Kings of Chaos Set list from last night .... all I can say is wow ... this is a classic rock greatest hits set ... my observations ... I saw the classic lineup of GNR fronted by Myles Kennedy - amazing .. Billy Duffy & the Cult were underrated - Sammy & Myles did a great job covering Love Removal Machine & Fire Woman ... add the Led Zep covers .. Glenn Hughes from Deep Purple was a surprise ... hearing him sing Burn with Doug Aldrich from Whitesnake on guitar was a treat ... and then there's Slash .. kudos to Matt Sorum for putting the KOC together ... kinda felt like a Cabo Wabo Birthday Bash alumni gig

Kings of Chaos great show! VIP friendly, maybe not

by Slashhhhh on 8/1/15The Fillmore San Francisco - San Francisco

VIP tickets over $350 each. It was GREAT to view the band rehearse close up with only about 100 others! It was clear from the get however, that most band members weren't into the VIP experience (not particularly surprising for Rock-N-Rollers). There was little to no interaction with the VIP crowd during rehearsal. Sammy was a rehearsal no-show. The "Meet and Greet" with "Photo Op" consisted of being rushed up to the band standing in front of the stage. My date and I, along with 3 other VIP strangers (strict rule of 5 VIP's per photo), then had had our picture taken by an outside photographer, with the promise that "you'll receive your pic by email" (Hmmmm, over 3 days later, and still no pic). I had enough time to say, "Hi guys" to Duff and Glenn Hughes (they grunted back), before security rushed us away to the bar. Kudos to Matt (who remembered my date from a prior appearance), and kudos to Gilby Clarke -- he was all smiles and engaging. VIP experience aside, GREAT concert! They played several Zep songs (loved it). I found myself however, smiling biggest and uncontrollablly when the band burst into GNR stuff! I'd go again, but I'd likely skip the VIP.

    Chaos a bit of chaos

by ShelleyPR on 8/1/15The Fillmore - San Francisco

Although the show was good the problem was the VIP. We were instructed to be there by 5 to go in at 5:15. I don't think we got in until close to door opening. We were supposed to be there for sound check. We could hear sound check outside. Instead we got to hear two songs being played when they did let us in. We were supposed to get an autographed poster which we did not get. Sammy Hagar was not there for sound check and the photo oppty and there were more Sammy fans there than for anyone else. It was not an issue for me as I have met Sammy and all of these bandmembers before but others were very upset that they paid $350 and some $500 for the VIP soundcheck and they did not get what they were promised. We were also rushed and as I have been involved with these same musicians in other instances it was uncalled for the way people who spent a lot of money were treated.

    A good old time

by rockdoctor on 5/18/15Hard Rock Live - Hollywood

The line up and set list for this concert intriguied me so I bought a ticket. The set consisted songs from Cheap Trick, Deep Purple, GNR, and ZZ Top, and as well as covers of Rebel Yell (iggy Pop). Foxy Lady (Hendrix), Whole Lotta Love (Led Zepplin), and The Thrill Is Gone as a tribute to the recent passing of B. B. King. Interestingly Robin Zander sounded better with this band.which had a heavier sound that I favor. Glenn Hughes did the vocals for the Deep Purple Songs as did Billy Gibbons for ZZ Top. A variety of the vocalists did GNR, and the other covers. Steve Stevens guitar work was great. Duff did all the bass work and Matt Sorum the drums. The lead guitar was mostly handled by Stevens, but shared with Billy Gibbons and Gilby Clarke. As someone who enjoys the music of the 70s and 80s, it was a great experience.

    Rip-Roaring Fun from the Kings

by MiamiDreamer on 5/18/15Hard Rock Live - Hollywood

What fun it is to see a bunch of excellent musicians from different groups gathering together to play each others' songs. Robin Zander and Glenn Hughes sound as good as they did 30 years ago - Zander nailed the Rebel Yell and Hughes looks and sounds great. But as much as I loved them, Billy Gibbons stole the show with his Texas growl and prowess on the guitar. I saw ZZ Top a week earlier for my first time, and now I can't get enough of them. The three guys from Guns N' Roses were terrific, and Steve Stevens had some amazing licks. This was a very entertaining show at a fraction of the cost of most of the 60s and 70s rock acts that I see. BB King passed away that day, and their tribute to him was very touching.

    GREAT ROCK SHOW!!!

by MusicAddict51 on 5/18/15Hard Rock Live - Hollywood

Musically, this is one of the best rock shows to see! Robin Zander, Billy Gibbons, Steven Stevens, Glenn Hughes and the boys from Guns N Roses! Wow! Great songs from some of the masters of rock! I saw this show on May 15, the day BB King died and they did a great tribute of "The Thrill is Gone"! Robin Zander's vocals on "Rebel Yell" and "Paradise City" blew the crowd away! 40 years of Cheap Trick hasn't done a thing but make his voice better! Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top was his usual crazy fun self and Glenn Hughes from Deep Purple has a ridiculous voice. Guns N Roses band Matt, Duff and Gilby are tight and a great band without Slash or Axl. A rock fan's dream show! The lineup of KOC changes all the time so be sure to check who is with them, although whoever it is will no doubt be rock royalty!
