    SO good!!!!

by Darren on 7/31/22Gramercy Theatre - New York

King’s X is my all-time favorite band, and with a new album about to drop, they did not disappoint. Absolutely killed it. See them if you have the chance!

    Slightly disappointing

    by Malignant Narcissist on 3/24/20

Saw them last summer and while the musicianship was top notch and high energy as normally their shows are Ty was not singing at all so it limited their setlist to only songs Doug sang. Even with that they are still better than most acts touring out there.

    Great show

    by k9mrussell on 8/7/19The Queen - Wilmington

The opening band Age if Truth was amazing. They absolutly crushed it. And of course Kings X were true to form and killed it. They are such good musicians. Very clean performance. I wish the venue (The Queen) were more reasonable with their alcohol prices. $14 for a beer is ridiculous. The venue was nice and sound was good. Very intimate vibe.

    A Phenomenal Performance

    by Joshu's Guitar-playing Student on 8/5/19The Queen - Wilmington

I have seen King's X play many times, and they are consistently fantastic. They are truly one of the greatest rock bands that has ever graced the stage and studio. Why they are not one of the most universally-revered group's of all time is a mystery that has baffled some of the top musicians in rock,... but I digress. As for this particular concert, the band was particularly exceptional. The crowd was especially enthusiastic and Dug, Ty, and Jerry just fed off of that energy. They played with extraordinary brilliance and passion, and it was clear that they were having as much fun as we were. If you have the chance to see King's X in concert, don't miss it. And, bring a friend. They will thank you for it.

    Great Concert

by NancyK on 8/5/19The Queen - Wilmington

Fabulous concert and Kings X was awesome as always. We saw them at the Queen in Wilmington, the staff was wonderful there. It's a great intimate experience. We were able to sit up in the balcony because the downstairs was standing only and I had recent foot surgery. Can't say enough about how accommodating the venue was. We will definitely be going back. Rock on Kings X!!

    As good as it gets

    by L. B. on 7/15/19Aura - Portland

First time at Aura, and the hype is true. Great venue. Opening acts Cross the Divide and Sygnal to Noise were very good. Kings X were phenomenal. This is just about the tightest live band you'll ever see. Great cross-section of songs from across their 30-plus year tenure. Outstanding.

    KingsX is still the Best

by CaryI on 7/7/19Gramercy Theatre - New York

Kings X had an awesome set. Even with Doug having some trouble with his voice that night. He still gives you his 100 and 50 %. They are so professional and so awesome at what they do, They are so fun to watch and listen to. They have been and still are one of my favorite bands. I have been so blessed to have actually been able to meet them and open for them at the Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp, a few years ago. In NYC. I got to play on Jerry Gaskills Drum Kit. He is such an amazing and innovative drummer. Ty Tabor is also such an amazing and incredible guitarist. His style and sounds he gets from his guitars, words can't describe how good he is. 3 of the Best musicians and they are so humble as well. I hope they never stop. I will always go to a Kings X show. Disappointing

by KB on 7/3/19Gramercy Theatre - New York

King's X is my favorite all time band....without question. Dug's vocals, Ty's vocals and tasty playing, and JERRY as the crowd always chants....GREAT band...great guys. I've seen this band as least a dozen times over the years. Unfortunately this show was real disappointing. Dug was losing his voice ( I get it, it happens but this was only the 3rd show in on this tour) and he let the crowd sing most of the songs. The crowd actually sang well but I didn't come here to hear them sing. The sound guy was literally on his phone probably Facebooking the whole set. So much so some chick by me screamed "Hey sound guy get OFF your phone" to which we cheered. Had he been doing his job properly we would have actually heard Ty's and Jerry's vocals....regrettably we barely heard them- FAIL! Lastly, the most disappointing thing was that it's the SAME SET. Granted all good songs but it's the SAME set for about a decade now. Go ahead and go on setlist.fm and check for yourself. This band has a literal WEALTH of really great material to draw from....I wish they would. C'mon guys......I will still love this band but this may have been my last King's X show

by Manofpause on 8/27/18The Stone Pony - Asbury Park

I’ve seen Kings X many times, but it’s been probably around 8 years since, they were as good as ever and in my opinion, probably one of the most underrated bands out there! How can you not love these guys? Vocals, lyrics, musicianship, Excellent!! And a great encore to finish up the night, with the audience singing the lyrics to Goldiloxs !! Thanks guys you never let me down ! Can’t wait to see you come around again!

    Most Underrated Band Ever

by joebadness on 8/27/18The Stone Pony - Asbury Park

King’s X pioneered a sound that inspired so many bands in the 90s. They sounded the best they have in years at this show! For KX fans, this show was simply perfect. If you’ve never seen them, go. The venue (The Stone Pony) is way too small for a show like this. Virtually impossible to move - much less go to the bar and buy a drink during the show. Other than that, the band blew me away!!

    King’s X rules!!!!

by NickyQuadz44 on 8/27/18The Stone Pony - Asbury Park

I have been a fan of these Kats since the 80’s. So pretty much since the beginning. I’ve seen them many times including front row and center at Woodstock 94. Like a fine wine, they just get better with age. May I just say, it’s incredibly moving when they allow the crowd to sing all of “Goldilox.” To have created a song that memorable that your fans can sing the whole thing, is any musicians ultimate dream and legacy. I’m a true “Lifer” for King’s X. Love you Dug, Ty and Jerry.... Thanks for being my companions fo life! * and as a side note, thank you my brother from another mother (Ty’s guitar tech) for Ty’s guitar pick.. Both my son and I greatly appreciate it and you! Post script: Me and my Pop went together to the Good old Stone Pony is Asbury Park NJ and this is a fantastic place to see any show! We will be back fo sho bro! Da Quadz

    AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME

by VINNYTHEROCKER on 8/25/18Sony Hall - New York

KINGS X, are the most under rated band I can think of. They are great musicians, and have one of the best catalogs of songs to choose from on any given night. I have never been disappointed any time I have seen them, and can't wait for them to play the New York City area again. I ADVISE EVERYONE TO SEE THESE GUYS AT LEAST ONCE!
