  • great show

by Eric on 10/21/25Aura - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

After 45 years, King's X still reigns! They played for about 90 minutes. Awesome music. It's hard to believe dUg Pinnick is 75 years old, he sounded great, as well as Jerry and Ty, they rocked too! They played all the "hits"you would expect, and there were some surprises like "Cigarettes", I love that song.

  • King's X

by ChadCIII on 8/14/25The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

The show at the Vogel was really good. The opening act was solid. I did get myself a t-shirt from the vendor before the show. The facility was clean, good customer service and good view of the stage from the balcony. It was an ideal setting to see that level of band.

  • King's X never disappoints

by Acnierenberg on 8/13/25Gramercy Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

A great selection of songs ranging from their debut to their most recent release. Closing the night with the crowd singing their popular ballad, Goldilox, from the first record. For me going to see King's X puts me in my happy place.

  • Mix was painfully loud during opener

by Ed on 8/11/25Gramercy Theatre - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

The opening act, while good, was WAY too loud, especially the keyboard. The mix for King's X was also too loud, although my ears may have been shot due to the first act. I couldn't tell you if they were good or bad, couldn't hear the vocals.

  • Gettn Kings X tickets

by Sharon on 8/10/25The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

Every year, ticketmaster tells me when king's ex is coming around and I go on a website and they give me all the instructions and I buy my tickets.I never have a problem... I just miss an old fashioned ticket mail to my house. I know you can go online and print them, but I hate to mess with my ticjets. I just like to leave it alone so it works when I get to the venue with no issues...

  • The Three Kings Return!!!

by Mr. X on 8/10/25The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

Love, love, love these guys!! They always deliver a strong, inspirational and thoroughly enjoyable show. They have been one of my very favorite bands since 1987 and they still at the top my list. See them, experience them when you still can!!!

  • Great Band - Odd/Uncomfortable Set up

by Count Greenman on 8/13/24Gramercy Theatre - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

King's X is great as always. But for the 2nd time in a row (also on King's X last visit on 7/28/22), the Grammercy Theatre put seating on the floor where we usually stand. It makes for an awkward experience. I am used to standing (moshing back in the day as well) and being restricted to seats affects the enjoyment of the show. Especially the way us Americans are built. Most of us were hesitant to stand up and cheer on the band as to not offend people behind us that seemed to just sit like lumps in their chairs. I won't even get into the $14 for a domestic 12 oz can of beer.

  • Great show!!!

by ACNierenberg on 8/5/24The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

I have aeen King's X more than a dozen times in the last 35 years. This show struck a great balance between old and new songs from their newest release which is a great disc. The band was completely engaged and firing on all cylinders, with the charm that they have always had. Looking forward to any new releases and subsequent tours.

  • They've still got it!!

by DJ on 7/31/24The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

King's X in 2024 is still a spellbinding concert! Their musicianship and vocals are such a joy to experience live! The guitarist/vocalist Ty, in particular, seems to really enjoy what he's doing! He smiled through almost every lead! Such a contrast to many other bands who seem to consider their audience a necessary evil. I have seen these guys countless times since being introduced to their music in the '80s, and I had decided I had seen them enough. However, after being given this concert as a gift from my son and seeing how fun King's X still is, I'll be looking to see them next time they're within range! See them, and enjoy! Faith Hope Love!!
