King George on Tour
The soulful vocals and jazzy rhythm of the R&B southern soul singer and songwriter King George are taking him on a whirlwind trip to the top of the blues scene. Seemingly coming out of nowhere, he rose to prominence quickly in 2022, ending the year as one of the headliners of the famous Blues Is Alright Tour.
His 2022 hit single "Keep On Rollin" has more than 10 million streams on Spotify and millions of views on YouTube. And he's just getting started. His emotional lyrics and swaggering delivery are eclipsing the current roster of southern Blues artists in a swift way.
King George Live in Concert
King George grew up in Hampton, Virginia, and now lives in Hopkin, South Carolina.
He debuted in 2020 with the single "Leave & Party" and followed with five more singles that year, including the popular songs "Don't Let Me Be Blind" and "Love Song."
He gained notoriety with the 2022 release of his hit single "Keep On Rollin" and is expected to release his first album Juke Joint 2, in early 2023.

Had a very good time... all the performances did good. Especially my man king George he need ro come back. I wish they would sell Don julio respasado though lol. Wish the seats weren't so close other then that the venue was very nice and clean
It was a great experience! I wish there was more info about the venue, bag policies, etc. It was a turnout! I had a blast and would love to see more artists at the Civic Center.
it was great. Great show. Seating was a little off. The reason for 4 stars vice the 5
King George had Tulsa on đ„... a time was definitely had on my end đ€
The concert was definitely a vibe! I didnât know who Fat Daddy was before the show, but he absolutely did his thing â Iâd attend another event with his name on it without hesitation. J. Friday also had some great hits and kept the energy high throughout the night. King George, on the other hand, could improve his stage presence and energy. I know he was the headliner, but thatâs not who I came to see â and honestly, Fat Daddy shouldâve been the main act. It wouldâve been nice if the host had mentioned the absence of Marcellus The Singer. I also didnât love that, despite paying for front-row seats, my view was blocked by people who paid for cheaper seats and crowded the front. I especially felt bad for the older guests in Row A who couldnât stand just to see the stage. Iâm not just here to complain, though â here are a few suggestions for future events at this venue: 1.Redesign the layout to include clear VIP and General Admission sections. 2.Block off the front-stage area exclusively for VIP ticket holders. 3.Add more event staff â the two working up front seemed overwhelmed and hesitant to control the crowd. 4.Improve communication and transparency with customers about changes or performer absences. Overall, I had a good time and would definitely come out again â especially if Fat Daddyâs performing!
The concert was great! The energy, the crowd, and the performance were all on point. Definitely worth it!
This concert was absolutely amazing! My husband and I had an absolutely amazing time. The only the thing I would change would be the price of the drinks. $16 a drink and $11 a beer is a little excessive.
Going to the denim and blues concert was everything I imagined it to be. Everyone did an outstanding performance. I hope they all return to Savannah soon. Great experience with some of my favorite artists đđ„°
There were issues with seating at this concert. The venue staff needs to do a better job in making sure that folks are seated in their correct seats. It caused a delay in the concert, which was not appreciated by the audience. Also, there was a long delay between Big Daddy and Marcellus the Singer's performance. Marcellus came on stage quite late. There was a stall prior to him taking the stage. Overall, all the artists and the concert was good, but King George was absolutely đŻ âŁïž Thank you.
