KILLSWITCH ENGAGE IN CONCERT:
Metalcore band Killswitch Engage have made a name for themselves with their heart-stopping combination of sophistication and brutality. At their live shows, the band lays out a riff-heavy onslaught of guitars combined with dynamic vocals that range from bloodcurdling shrieks to low-pitch death growls as they pummel through tracks like "My Curse" and "Holy Diver." In the middle of all this unrelenting intensity is band frontman Jesse Leach, oozing a degree of snarling ferocity that is sure to please metal-heads and hardcore kids alike at the band's 2014 tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Westfield, MA metalcore pioneers Killswitch Engage were born in 1999 out of the figurative ashes of other hardcore bands and the literal ashes of Massachusetts' post-industrial Pioneer Valley. Their 2000 self-titled debut album on indie metal label Ferret immediately resonated with fans and nabbed rave reviews, earning them a spot on tour with fellow metal act In Flames. With the 2004 release of third album The End of Heartache, the band truly reached new heights, landing on the Billboard 200 and earning a 2005 Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance. Overall, the band has released six studio albums, selling over four million records in the US and becoming a touring staple on the international metal circuit.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"An awesome show!!! Sang along to every song! Jesse did a great job singing old and new songs!"
"The sound was amazing. Great bands all around. Killswitch was on a whole other level!"
"As a new fan of Killswitch Engage I wasn't totally up to date on all of their stuff...But even without knowing all of their songs I was really feeling their show. The best part of the event was the closing ...so emotional it was perfect!"
Great venue! Killswitch engage killer as always and i also got the set list at the end of the show to top it off!!
Nice new venue. Once in a lifetime experience to see Jesse Leach and Howard Jones share the stage.
Never had more fun in my life. Absolute slayed and I’d see it again today if I could.
Light the Torch and Killswitch Engage really brought the energy to the stage. The audience was electrified. Passers-by certainly felt the ground moving. I cannot say all I need to say, I'll just give it the horns! 🤘
The venue is always nice and we like the recent option to be able to upgrade to some seats from GA.
Killswitch lacked the energy of previous shows (3) I attended. Music was competent but co-headliner ABR was superior in every way (energy, musicianship, polish etc.).
Great show, seeing Howard on stage with killswitch engage agian was awesome!
The highs and mids could have been tuned a bit better, the lyrics were alittle hard to understand. But other than that all the bands were awesome. This was my 3rd concert that ive been to ever.
The venue was amazing, as always, love the Fillmore. The bands were on point and seeing Howard take the stage with Jesse to belt out a few of Killswitch's songs was amazing. One of the best show I have been to. And I have been to a lot. Amazing, just amazing. Thank you to all of the bands and all the support people, great job. Ken
Great band in Killswitch!!! Great venue. Kind of lame still asking for covid card. Aside from that. Great show!
I dont think Jesse has ever sound better. Ever. And Light the Torch is just incredible. Its a must-see show
Fillmore needs a better parking situation. Not sure how- otherwise loved the show! Great old historic venue!
The energy from Howard and Jesse and the bands were absolutely amazing. So much enthusiasm. Love for the fans. Always such an amazing experience.
I’ve seen Killswitch 21 times now. I have an amazing time every time them. I’ll keep seeing them until they retire 🤘🏻 I admin “Fans of Killswitch Engage” on FB… come check us out! We even have a few VIPs hanging around 😉
Great show! I really like the venue, the Knitting Factory is the perfect place for a concert!
Enjoyed my time at the venue, lots of bars to grab drinks so there are no long lines, however security and management sucks. I found some items at the end of the night and asked them where to turn in the items and they told me just to leave it on the floor. I lost a phone/wallet case and the next day the phone was still alive and showed it was in the venue. I contacted the box office and wrote an email to the manangement for the lost and found and they refused to help me. Autumn refused to contact her managers to ask them to enter the venue to retrieve the items and management who Autumn said was named Brennan and Ryan never responded to the email. The phone is still in the venue but they don't care enough about their attendees so don't bother buying tickets to shows at this venue.
Concert was awesome! didnt appreciate being asked for Covid test results because if people are scared or worried then they should stay home.
All 3 bands were great. Knitting Factory did a good job getting people in and out.
Covid time off didn't help the band - unorganized and un-rehearsed. Warm-up bands were better than the headliner...
It was an awesome show! Lot’s of energy and great experience.
