KILLSWITCH ENGAGE IN CONCERT:

Metalcore band Killswitch Engage have made a name for themselves with their heart-stopping combination of sophistication and brutality. At their live shows, the band lays out a riff-heavy onslaught of guitars combined with dynamic vocals that range from bloodcurdling shrieks to low-pitch death growls as they pummel through tracks like "My Curse" and "Holy Diver." In the middle of all this unrelenting intensity is band frontman Jesse Leach, oozing a degree of snarling ferocity that is sure to please metal-heads and hardcore kids alike at the band's 2014 tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Westfield, MA metalcore pioneers Killswitch Engage were born in 1999 out of the figurative ashes of other hardcore bands and the literal ashes of Massachusetts' post-industrial Pioneer Valley. Their 2000 self-titled debut album on indie metal label Ferret immediately resonated with fans and nabbed rave reviews, earning them a spot on tour with fellow metal act In Flames. With the 2004 release of third album The End of Heartache, the band truly reached new heights, landing on the Billboard 200 and earning a 2005 Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance. Overall, the band has released six studio albums, selling over four million records in the US and becoming a touring staple on the international metal circuit.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"An awesome show!!! Sang along to every song! Jesse did a great job singing old and new songs!"

"The sound was amazing. Great bands all around. Killswitch was on a whole other level!"

"As a new fan of Killswitch Engage I wasn't totally up to date on all of their stuff...But even without knowing all of their songs I was really feeling their show. The best part of the event was the closing ...so emotional it was perfect!"

  • Killswitch Engage absolutely crushed it.

by BradMetal on 8/5/25Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Saw them as part of Summer of Loud. They sounded incredible and the energy they brought, the positive vibes and messages of hope they brought added to the experience of seeing one of metal's legends. Already loved Killswith Engage and this show made me love them more. 11/10 would see them again.

This was an amazing festival! I am so happy and glad they are bringing back all day festivals like this, I really missed mayhem festival and uproar. Amazing line up, the venue was great and clean, our seats were amazing! Just all around amazing time. We even drove 2 hours to go and see this line up.

Been to this venue a few times before and even though it’s not the closest to me, it’s worth the drive. First time seeing Killswitch and definetly won’t be my last. I swear they are better live! Very worth the purchase!

  • Loud as promised

  • Couldn't see the band because it was dark

by Bobzilla on 7/23/25Northwell at Jones Beach Theater - WantaghRating: 3 out of 5

Saw them at the Summer of Loud. The first 6 bands were awesome! Then, the sun went down, and I Prevail and Killswitch Engage played in the dark! There were lights, but they faced the audience. The music was great, but aside from that, I was very disappointed. The bands should have been prepared for this.

We mainly went for the 4 headliners and they were amazing. Kudos to the starting bands as well!

  • Heavy metal alive & well

by J-Red on 7/19/25Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre - West Valley CityRating: 4 out of 5

Keep METAL SHOWS COMING!!! 🤘Nice long show 8 bands 8 hours, longer sets for the headliners would’ve been nice. American 1st credit amphitheater did a good job hosting, a few things could be improved such as cooling stations like (sprinklers, misting tents) should be more common during hot weather. Ease up on the restrictions for H2O bottles, sunscreen, folding chairs & bags; high prices for everything too please.
