KIDZ BOP Kids on Tour

There is no stopping the 21st century's most massive musical empire: KIDZ BOP. Since first being introduced in 2001, the self-proclaimed "No. 1 music brand for kids" has transformed pop music's greatest hits ā€” even the most explicit of chart-toppers ā€” into kid-friendly versions. It's proven to be a huge success, with multiple albums reaching No. 1 on the U.S. Kids charts nearly every year. Naturally, the KIDZ BOP franchise eventually grew beyond just recording albums to becoming a live performance force to be reckoned with.Ā

After a nationwide talent search, the inaugural KIDZ BOP tour kicked off in 2007 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and hit up venues across the U.S. for more than six months. But it wasn't until seven years later that the brand took touring to a whole new level.Ā

In 2014, the Dream Big, Sing Loud tour landed in more than 40 cities around the nation with the cast singing current hits by artists like Pharrell Williams, Ed Sheeran, and Katy Perry. This led to similar new tours each year, including 2015's Make Some Noise tour, 2016's Life of the Party tour, and 2017's Best Time Ever tour.Ā

Also in 2017, KIDZ BOP expanded beyond the U.S., forming a cast of British KIDZ BOP Kids exclusively for the U.K. audience. But they also remained a hot ticket in the States, launching the KIDZ BOP Live 2018 Tour, followed by the KIDZ BOP World Tour in 2019.

Of course, each year features new performers, new songs, and new choreography. During these tours, the Kids perform more than 50 live shows each year. The seven-kid cast is chosen through a nationwide casting call that picks young talents to sing on the KIDZ BOP albums, star in their music videos, and travel North America as part of the KIDZ BOP Kids live tours. These kids are all multi-talent threats (some even have Broadway credits already to their name) and may just be future pop stars themselves.

by Tanya on 12/6/23Paramount Theatre - Seattle

My almost 5 year old had a good time signing along I though there would be more than 4 kidz bop kids It was good they offered an intermission 90 min timing was also fair for this age group The flashing lights out at the audience were a bit much

    Fun, But Lip Syncing?

by Matt on 12/6/23Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Don't get me wrong, the kids had fun, but I did not expect lip syncing the entire performance. For the ticket price I was very disappointed the talent didn't actually sing.

Im 14 and went with some of my friends, honestly best night ever. It was so fun for us to sing along and was overall a great performance. The kids seemed to have lots of fun and honestly it seemed like the adults were entertained too šŸ˜‚ Great experience, go KIDZ bop!

    Lip syncing šŸ‘Ž

by Bop Dad on 12/5/23Moda Center - Portland

Kids were great, the 6 year olds loved it, but it was lip syncing. I wasnā€™t expecting that and was very disappointed. But again it was a show for the kids.

    What A Letdown vs. 2019

by Tall Tyler on 11/28/23Will Rogers Auditorium - Fort Worth

I attended the recent KidzBop Kids concert with high expectations, remembering the fantastic show we experienced back in 2019 at Toyota Music Factory. Unfortunately, this latest performance was a major letdown. To my dismay, there were only four kids on stage, and it was painfully obvious that they were lip-syncing. This was a stark contrast to the 2019 concert, which featured a larger and more energetic group of performers who genuinely sang and danced, captivating the audience with their talent and enthusiasm. The production quality has noticeably declined as well. The stage setup and sound system were inferior compared to what we witnessed in 2019. Back then, the stage was vibrant, and the sound quality was impeccable, enhancing the overall experience. This time, the lackluster stage and mediocre sound system failed to create an engaging atmosphere for the audience. My kids and I were ready to go home after a very painful 40 minutes. Overall, the KidzBop Kids concert was a disappointing experience. It lacked the energy, authenticity, and production quality that made the 2019 concert a memorable event. I regret to say that it felt like a mere shadow of its former self, leaving both me and my children underwhelmed. One star.

    KidzBopKids Concert Ft Worth

by DrCharm on 11/28/23Will Rogers Auditorium - Fort Worth

My children enjoyed it but we really could have just put on videos of Kid Bop Kidz. I don't think they were actually singing just dancing. I was underwhelmed but again my kids enjoyed it.

    Granddaughters first concert

by Deemaw on 11/28/23Will Rogers Auditorium - Fort Worth

Disappointed that they were lip syncing and only 4 kids performed the whole time. They didnā€™t really ā€œput on the showā€ we expected. But the girls (7 & 8) still had fun. The 7 year old pointed out that they werenā€™t really singing šŸ˜‚

    Underwhelming

by DaddyB on 11/25/23The Louisville Palace - Louisville

It was okay. Kinda like listening to the radio and watching 4 kids dance. Kids thought it was okay but canā€™t say we will be attending another one.

    Great place, decent show

by JC on 11/25/23The Louisville Palace - Louisville

The Louisville Palace was an amazing venue. Staff were friendly and helpful. The kidz bop kids put in a lot of hard work performing the entire show. The only downfall was (what sounded like) recorded singing. It did not sound like the performers were singing live. Most of the girls in the audience were younger than my daughter, but we definitely caught on. It would have been nice to hear some live singing versus pre recorded or auto-tuned like singing.

1st time concert for 8 yr old Granddaugther

by Suemc101 on 11/22/23Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

We got there early so I could get my granddaughter a tshirt before it got too crowded. She was pretty overwhelmed with the size of the venue. We had front row seats. She loved the music but didn't feel comfortable dancing so she danced in her seat. I think she was awestruck. Mentioned that there were so many kids there. I don't think she was ever in such a large venue with so many people. She liked getting free refills of popcorn. I asked her if she was having fun and she said she was. She sang all the way home. Great 1st concert that I'm sure she will remember.

Sort of sad really. They used to be good. This show was so bad. Kids loved it sure but theyā€™re really shooting for the least possible work.

I can't wait for the next one!

by Fantastic family fun on 11/20/23Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

This was a great show! it was prompt, family-friendly, the merch was sensibly priced, parking was a breeze, the performers wore age appropriate clothing and were super cool, the dad dance off was so fun and engaging, and, the props during the show were a nice touch. My daughter and niece want to make this our annual thing to do. We had a great time. The venue was clean and appropriate for the event.
