KID ROCK IN CONCERT:
There are mere performers, and then there's Kid Rock. Primarily known for his bad boy image and rap-rock stylings, the veteran performer often surprises new fans with his unexpected musicianship in concert. Having expanded his repertoire to include gospel and soul with 2012's Rebel Soul, he now treats fans to a more dynamic show than ever, and his upcoming tour dates are sure to be no exception.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Growing up in suburban Detroit, Kid Rock was interested in rap and breakdancing from an early age, joining a crew and teaching himself to DJ in his teens. As a hip hop performer, he released five albums between 1990 and 1997 before signing with Atlantic Records in 1998. He then began fusing rap with rock, becoming one of rap-rock's pioneers with hits like "Bawitdaba" and "Only God Knows Why." Not content to stay within expected boundaries, Rock's follow-up records became more rock, country, and blues-oriented starting with 2001's Cocky and peaking with 2007's Rock n Roll Jesus -- an album that featured the No. 1 single "All Summer Long." A consummate showman with an ever-growing catalog of hits, Kid Rock's continued presence on tour is a cause for celebration among fans both new and old.

The city (Youngstown, OH) did not have a lot of close hotel options nor lots of Uber or Lyft drivers so getting back to our hotel proved a challenge. Weâve been to so many concerts, but Kid Rock, Buckcherry and Lee Brice are now on our top favorite concert list! The crowd was a great camaraderie and felt party safe! Kid Rock knows how to put on a show and we will definitely strive to see him again!

by JS on 8/1/23Bands were outstanding. Whoever arranged the restroom facilities did not think it through. Small entrance/exit was clogged with people coming in and out and toilet area was too small. Make two areas with larger access area. Also, hardly any garbage cans in venue so lots of trash left everywhere.

by Kirsten B on 8/1/23Buckcherryâs mic was a little wonky but otherwise they kicked butt! Wish they would have played a couple more songs. Lee Brice was phenomenal and I really wanna see him again- maybe as the headliner!!! Third time seeing Kid Rock and I feel like this was the best time yet!! Iâm a Michigan native so driving to Ohio to see him at a different venue and having such a great experience really kicked butt!

by With today's technology? The video screen and the microphone were not in sync...so it was not fun to watch..we just listened on 8/1/23The event at Youngstown was not organized well at all..took too long to enter venue!!

by Mg on 8/1/23Kid Rock was incredible, as usual. However, the venue was horrible. Very disorganized and the seating was a mess. I will never go to Youngstown, Ohio again for a concert. Extremely disappointed.

by Kid Super Fan on 8/1/23Kid Rock put on an excellent show!! We had great seats. The visuals were sweet and the big screens were a bonus that we were grateful for since there were over 23,000 people rocking out with us. It was an overall blast and would definitely do it again!!!!!

by Jon Mikhail on 8/1/23Jack Live, Kid Rock, Lee Brice and yes, even Youngstown law enforcement pulled off a winner for the city. From crowd management, to unprude beverage policies, to a great venue set-up, sound system and the artists themselves, one would think they were in one of the most vibey cities in the US....and major props attributable to the a mostly conservative leaning crowd that showed they also know how to party with the best of them. Standing ovation all around
