Khruangbin is a three-piece band from Houston, Texas, formed in 2009 with Laura Lee on bass, Mark Speer on guitar and Donald Johnson on drums. Taking influence from 1960's Thai funk - their name literally translates to "Engine Fly" in Thai - Khruangbin is steeped in the bass heavy, psychedelic sound of their inspiration, Tarantino soundtracks and surf-rock cool. By the summer of 2019, the trio had been on tour for nearly three-and-a-half years, playing to audiences across North and South America, Europe, and southeast Asia behind its acclaimed albums The Universe Smiles Upon You, Con Todo El Mundo, and Mordechai. Garnering glowing praise from The New York Times, W Magazine, Billboard, The Los Angeles Times, The FADER, Khruangbin released their very first remix album, Mordechai Remixes, on Dead Oceans, in association with Night Time Stories, Ltd in 2021. Each remixer on Mordechai Remixes has a musical or cosmic connection to Khruangbin and remixers included Kadhja Bonet, Ginger Root, Knxwledge, Natasha Diggs, Soul Clap, Quantic, Felix Dickinson, Ron Trent, Mang Dynasty, Harvey Sutherland. Khruangbin worked with Grammy-winning R&B singer/songwriter Leon Bridges, from Ft. Worth, for two groundbreaking collaborative EPs, Texas Sun & Texas Moon. Further extending the lone star state's sonic possibilities, the sister EPs pensively examines Texas' musical perception, while paying homage to the marriage of country and R&B that's become synonymous with the region.

Khruangbin was AMAZING! Absolutely wonderful and fun from beginning to end. I'm SO glad that I finally saw them in concert.
The music was cranked too loud so a decent amount of detail was lost, but Khruangbin was completely on point. Everything was perfect from the performance to the light show, would absolutely see them again anywhere I'm able to go.
This band is incredibly talented, brought great energy and connection with the crowd. Highly recommend.
Quick entry. Beautiful venue. Multiple bars. Awesome views. I love it
I consider myself a live show connoisseur and attend several concerts a year (pre-pandemic). Khruangbin has by far given the best live performance I've ever seen. Not only are Mark, Laura, and DJ experts in their craft, they have an entertaining and enthralling stage presence. In between some of their epic songs, they threw in some medleys that felt like I was attending an intimate jam session. Their skills and musical compositions are unmatched and I can't wait to see them live again.
Amazing performances by Dubya Garcia and by Khruangbin. The Anthem is an excellent venue.
Got these tickets to celebrate my solar return and also simply because I love Khruangbin. Iâve seen them live twice before and every time is truly a gift, they are masters of their craft who can only get better each time. It is worth saying however, that this kind of music doesnât really match the layout of the venue, because its constricted and doesnât give you much space to dance, wouldâve have been great to have some open space. But at the same time, making it to Radio City Music Hall is a huge accomplishment so props to them! Overall, amazing experience.
whole squad was on the spaceship I was upset laura wasnât wearing open toe shoes - please send a request for next time yurrrrrrrr
I have never encountered such friendly and helpful venue staff, no lines in the super clean bathroom, effortless entry process with no line, and great seats. I can't wait to see another concert at The Anthem.
Joyful night of fun funky music from start to finish!
Perfect venue with multiple choices for pre and post concert dining. The warm up band was hot. Khruangbin was on fire and didn't disappoint.
Overall good experience. Jammed out all night. Iâm giving it a 5 for the show. The venue is awesome. Only complaint is the lines for drinks are way too long. Waited 30 mins and was nowhere near the counter to order and gave up once the band started playing.
Love the band and the whole experience. It was amazing beyond expectations!
Worth the $30 ticket I got. Not worth the $100 asking price for a face value ticket.
The sold out crowd at Radio City Music Hall says it all as everyone was excited and singing
Hottest band in the world. Great sound, great look, great live experience.
Khruangbin puts on such a fun show! From the opening greeting where we were encouraged to introduce ourselves to our neighbor, to the original songs and covers, to the disco/funk/soul vibe⊠youâre on your feet dancing and smiling the whole time! What a treat to see them headline at Radio City where we saw them open for Leon Bridges pre pandemic!! Cool merch too!!
The show was amazing can't wait to see them again. They had us mesmerized the whole night
It was a fantastic concert, atmosphere and unique vibe ! Sound quality and view from 1st mezzanine was not disappointing. The scene layout and light were spot on, and the Radio City Hall team very friendly ! A night to remember !
