  • Best experience ever

by Trini Jami on 9/18/22Theatre of Living Arts - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve seen Kes perform several time and this has to be one of the best experiences ever. It was straight vibes from the beginning to the end and suck an intimate performance! I hope Philly is forever a stop on future tours ❤️

  • Kes is the best!!!

by Dj Supa Tang on 9/18/22Theatre of Living Arts - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

I was so happy to finally get to see Kes come to Philly. Not many soca artists ckme through here. Last time a major artist who came to rock a big stage was Machel when Lauryn Hill brought her tour here!! Any ways!! Ive seen Kes about 4 times already...all duribng different carnivals around the world. They are a delight, their music brings people together, it makes them happy and feel good!! During the concert at the TLA I was jumping and single every single song and even took a chip in the lobby with my flag 🇯🇲 I hope they consider coming back, I loved Jimmy October too, he should keep coming back to Philly and do some club events here. But Kes should come back with Freetown Collective and maybe Nailah Blackman!! This concert was so great!!

  • Best concert ever

by Moonie on 9/18/22Theatre of Living Arts - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Parking was close to this event. This was the best concert I’ve ever attended. I attended solo and I’ve never felt safer at a show especially in todays climate. The people and staff were amazing. We danced all show. No onto the show! Kes was AMAZING! I loved that the show started at 8, opening act on at 8:30, main act on by 9:15, done by 10:15. I got everything I paid for and more. Please bring him back along with other soca artist.

KES always brings vibes, it was great seeing them in a smaller venue and with amazing musicians from beginning to end.

I loved the performance! They're so energetic and happy! I loved hearing his new music but I loved his soca performance overall! He becomes one with his audience and I just love their stage presence! I'm definitely going to see Kes again!

Another amazing performance by an incredible band! I'm so thankful that they decided to preview their new/unreleased music with fans here in New York. It really made this event special. Thank you Jon, Hans, Riad, Mario, Robbie, Ricardo, Aaron & Kees. Bless! #KTB

  • Not What I Expected

    by RockyP75 on 8/23/15Mercury Lounge - New YorkRating: 2 out of 5

I wish the concert info had specified that this was more of a listening party for Kes the Band's new music, and not a soca show. I would not have gone had I known they were going to mostly play whatever adult contemporary pop music they played. If this new direction makes them happy, I say chase your dream and be merry, but this is where I get off the train. I really wanted to hear soca that night and was wholly disappointed. Also, the venue was a tiny death trap that felt like a bikram yoga class. It was suffocating and I left there dripping with sweat!

  • Kes and Kerwin

by ReinaZ on 4/24/15Kings Theatre - BrooklynRating: 4 out of 5

I enjoyed the show very much, the only problem was the time it took for the band to set up cut into the other artists performance. Mr. Killa and Ravi performance was significantly cut and that was a huge disappointment

I was excited to see many of the artist perform that night. The Theather is beautiful. Drinks are decent price and there are not to many food choices. Now the performances were good. My only issue was starting 15 minutes late, cutting the microphone of KERWIN and he was on the marquee outside as a headliner. They cut the microphone of other artist as well. I'm not sure would this had been done if it were a different crowd or other genre of artists. Some artist didn't even perform who they listed on ticket master another disappointment. As I left the event I felt half empty, and so was everyone else complaining. These problems may be rising as the venue is new and they are working out technicalities or management doesn't care about the audience.

This show was energetic . Kes the band is a natural entertainer ! It's just that the rest of the artist ran out of time to perform.

  • by Candi19 on 4/15/15Kings Theatre - BrooklynRating: 1 out of 5

Started late... too short...waste of money!!! 3 artists only sang 1 doing before being rushed off.. ended at 10.

  • Amazing concert

    by lkmoore07 on 4/15/15Kings Theatre - BrooklynRating: 4 out of 5

This was my first Trini concert in New York and enjoyed every minute of it. The performers had the crowd going. The crowd seemed as they could have partied all night . Amazing concert and I had a blast. Only thing I can recommend is check all sound systems before the concert start. But kings theater was nothing I have pictured . I will go back there for another concert .

  • KES WAS BEYOND AMAZING!

Bring more SOCA concerts to DC. Beautiful venue. Easy in and easy out. Danced the night away. General Admission - perfect - was right in front of the stage when show started!
