Pure energy… pure vibes …. Clean fun.. please bring him back again and again .
Kes puts on one of the best concerts. They are a must see.
So much fun! KTB always bringing the vibes and healing my soul. Always a wonderful feeling and experience watching Caribbean people and others come together in Unity just to wine and have a time.
It was great...we danced the entire time. Loved that he threw in some songs from other artists and had quite a few guests as well.
A little too crowded and overpriced, but a nice chill experience with great music.
...Kes NEVER has a bad performance! Each year, I budget to attend all his NYC performances. It was such a joy to be in unison with everyone representing the soca community. My disappointment was with Ticketmaster and Central Park Summerstage. Unfortunately, the seating chart on Ticketmaster did not represent the actual venue seating. Two days before the event, I received the REAL seating chart from Central Park Summer Stage which had my bleacher purchased seats off to the side of the venue...not directly behind general admission which would have provided a forward view of the stage. The venue also needs to work on their sound quality and volume. A lot of the sound was only projected forward leaving quite a bit of dead air off to sides.
Best show ever. Excellent blend of classic KTB with newer material. The special guests were mind blowing. David Rudder and Teja? Awesome.
Didn’t like his performance this year on day 1, second day was better than first.
The concert was amazing. I thought the sound could have been better but Kes and the band put on a fantastic show.
Hands down one of the best performances I've been to. The vibes was 100% from start to end. Can't wait for next year.
Kes always brings an amazing show at Central Park. Love seeing the West Indian culture so beautifully and energetically recognized in Central Park.
So much energy !!! loved his performance , so excited to see David Rudder perform with Kes !!!! love and admiration for this performer !
Summer Stage with Kes was a vibe and a good time. He is an amazing performer and gave us a show that was high energy and fun!
Kes has never failed to bring Boston a fabulous show and Nailah Blackman was a wonderful addition.
I first saw Kes at the end of April during Carnival in St. Thomas and was in genuine awe of his vocals, stamina, engagement, and passion. He performed for 90 mins straight. And it’s not just him as the frontman, the band is absolutely incredible. I said to myself and my friends I would pay to see him perform in the future, so I just HAD to go to his 7/5 performance in Central Park, and it was an experience I can never forget, just like in St. Thomas. Thank you KTB for being a group that’s worth every cent!
The energy and atmosphere was great. Good performance by Kes.
Kes put on an amazing show! Great energy from the band and crowd. The venue build out is really lovely. The drink prices are not so nice
My husband and I purchased the VIP meet and greet/GA Pit tickets for the Kes concert. We are HUGE fans and were so excited. However the VIP experience left us and the entire group wanting and pretty upset at the organizers. Check-in 4.30, came back at 5 to enter the venue and go through security, 5.30 meet & greet; It was SPECTACULAR to meet Kes, get our picture taken with him, exchange a few quick words and get his autograph. All which took a couple minutes at most. Then it went very down hill for the next 1 hour. We were stuck inside the venue with NO FOOD, NO DRINKS (until 6.30) and the merchandise stand didnt even open on time. Very poor decision by the organizers to only open the VIP Bar at 6.30 when everything else opened. Come on! What kind of VIP experience is that to be trapped in the venue sitting on lawn chairs with nothing?! Not even music playing or a DJ spining for a good 45 mins. This was very upsetting. A complete missed opportunity to make money from the ticket holders for 1 whole hour. We arent even asking for the stuff to be free. Have 1 stand or the VIP bar open and we would've paid to eat and drink. Also, the merch was lame! 3 types of t-shirts? Seriously who is marketing and organizing this? Have interesting merch and fans will pay! So, these are the reasons why this event gets a 3 star from me. Very poor marketing and organization of the VIP meet & greet/pre-performance time. One redeeming thing for the organizers was that we had access to the VIP bar (and restrooms) throughout the concert and easy access to the GA Pit (no fighting through the crowd). On the artists: Kes and the openers J.Petty & Nailah were ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING. This is our 3rd time seeing Kes in 2 years and each time feels like the first - so so good. Great vibes every moment he is on stage and all around. Love the guy.
I had an amazing time at the Kes show, which was exactly what I expected. Nailah and J. Perry were also fantastic additions. I liked that everything started on time, and I got my money's worth. What I didn't appreciate was the announcement about no flags at the door. Something like that should've been on the ticket. Not to mention, this is a Soca event. Why host Soca artists when you don't allow flags in the venue?
