Great concert stadium not so much

by DC on 10/30/22Rupp Arena - Lexington

First I got bumped buying tickets, still managed to get lower arena tickets. $800 plus for 4 tickets and there is a press box hanging down in front of seat! Couldn’t see half the tv monitors and when we stood up couldn’t even see the performers from blocked view. What a terrible experience. Glad we went to see local artists and support a great cause, but will never buy tickets in last 3 rows of lower arena ever again

    Kentucky Rising

by Kevin on 10/19/22Rupp Arena - Lexington

The concert was great. Surprise guests made it even better. The crowd was terrific. The only bad thing is my wife's purse was 1" over limit and we had to return to car and come back.

    Kentucky Rising

by Josh on 10/17/22Rupp Arena - Lexington

Trying to get into the concert was awful. Took almost 45 minutes to go 2 miles. The show started right at 7 and with so many people were still outside waiting to get in. The show was on a Tuesday evening, the concert traffic on top of normal traffic made it worse. After the first break I went to go to the bathroom and concession stand. Both lines were backed up and took forever to get through. I missed the start of the next set just waiting in line.

    Magical

by Laura on 10/16/22Rupp Arena - Lexington

Where to begin..I guess the first thing that comes to mind is that my father is from Hazard and we have family in the Hazard area, so it was for a cause close to my heart. The line-up was a can’t miss! Chris Stapleton and Dwight Yoakum are two of the best! I have seen Chris as an opening act so I was excited to see him as a headliner.. he is definitely one of my favorites. And I’ve seen Dwight a couple of times, he is always fantastic but I felt he was the best I’ve ever seen him! But the clincher for me was Tyler Childers. He was the main reason I wanted to go. I absolutely love him and his music and have been dying to see him live! He’s a little illusive, you know;) and let me tell you, he did NOT disappoint... I am a true fan!! I was in tears. And speaking of tears..the surprise guests, Ricky Skaggs and Patty Loveless.. they are legends. I love them both. But Patty singing You’ll Never Leave Harlan Alive truly hit my heart. I was doing the ugly cry, I was literally sobbing. And the audience singing along to all of their great songs was truly a magical experience. It will go down as one of the best concert experiences of my life. Thank you, Chris Stapleton for putting this together!

Paid $400 for two seats that were behind sound equipment

by Dissatisfied on 10/15/22Rupp Arena - Lexington

No one was interested in getting me to my paid seats. Had to sit on floor behind sound system and share a aisle way to see stage.

by Lewis W. on 10/15/22Rupp Arena - Lexington

I wish Tyler would have had more time, but amazing performance all the ways through. Could not have a better line up.

    The superbowl of concerts

by The GOAT on 10/14/22Rupp Arena - Lexington

A jam packed concert full of legends. Anyone of them could sell a venue out by themselves. Guest appearance from 2 more legends!?!?!? Phenomenal atnosphere for a great cause. I've never felt more like a Kentuckian or at home in a venue. The artists killed it. The atmosphere was electrifying. The show was once in a lifetime! Thank you to everyone who made it possible!
