I've seen Kenny in concert several times over the years, but this time was my favorite! Perhaps it was the size of the venue, but it was almost like having him in your living room....he was funny and shared personal photos of his family and even introduced his sisters, his older son, his young wife and twin boys! Of course the reason we were there was to hear his music, which was as always, outstanding!
His interaction with the crowd added to the event.
Kenny Rogers put on a wonderful show. He has so many hit songs that it was a shame that he couldn't sing them all-but then the show would've lasted for days. He is a great entertainer and get the audience involved with his production. He is down to earth and really is fun to watch. The seats in the arena at the Blue Chip were too close together. I could not even move and it felt like I was sitting on top of my neighbor :(
Kenny Rogers was outstanding! I love his show and singing and songs! However, I did not like the venue. I was disappointed with the seating. When I bought the tickets I was not aware of the performance being in a ballroom, therefore the seating was all on the floor. I think $60 was way too much to pay for the seat I had. Due to the different sizes of people, the seating was very uncomfortable.
It had been sometime since I had seen Kenny Rogers perform. I believe this was the 4th time I had seen him. He made me laugh, cry, ooh and awe. He brought the audience in and he seems so down to earth and real. I enjoyed the videos that he incorporated into his show that evening also.
The program was very good and we would recommend that anyone who likes the music of Kenny Rogers would love this show. He sang all of his great hits and also put his family into the mix with the videos of his wife and children. He got the audience into the program and then he put all at ease with his medley of great hits. The seating in the audience was a little close for each person seated in the audience. I would have preferred a little more room. The room was set up well and seemed to fit the group.
We saw Kenny Rogers at the Mable House Amphitheater and both Kenny and the venue were great. My only complaint about his show was he did not do any of his newer songs. I think Kenny has been slighted by the music industry. His Water and Bridges album is one of his best in my opinion.
My husband and I thought the Kenny Rogers 50 Years was just wonderful. Everything we expected and more! We have been Kenny Roger fans since we got married. The music and the visuals were very touching. Thanks for a wonderful concert. It was #1!!!
MY DAUGHTER (31) AND I (57) LOVE KENNY ROGERS, AND WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE CONCERT! NOT ONLY CAN HE SING GREAT, HE IS ALSO A GREAT COMEDIAN. WHAT AN ENTERTAINER! WE LOVED THE PICTURES OF HIS FAMILY AND THE COOL VIDEOS ON THE BIG SCREEN OF THE GAMBLER MOVIES, WHEN HE WAS YOUNG, ETC. THE TICKETS WERE A BIRTHDAY PRESENT, AND I HAD THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVER! WE WERE PROUD TO HELP THE CHILDREN'S CENTER WHICH IS SUCH A GREAT ASSET TO OUR AREA.
Kenny sang the songs I wanted to hear and then some! He also paced himself and the show so that he could maintain his voice and energy level while developing a good rapport with the audience!
For a high school gym, the sound was decent. Old Kenny moves a little slow on stage but his voice is still really clear and smooth....8-9 piece band....good show.
I have seen Kenny Rogers several times and everytime, it is a pleasure! The only bad thing about the concert was the venue. The chairs were butted up against each other which made it uncomfortable for anyone over size 2. The concert itself was very enjoyable and Kenny used some great stories and humor to make the show a success. I really enjoyed seeing his twins (whom I knew nothing about) and hearing some of his greatest hits once more. It brought back some great memories. Bravo! Of course, I would have liked it even better if he would have sang more songs; the concert was less than two hours.
The concert was great! Neal E. Boyd was wonderful and it was a great way to spend my birthday. Neal is fabulous and I was happy to vote as much as I could for him last year on America's Got Talent. I had seen Kenny Rogers in concert eons ago, but again, this was fabulous...interactive with the audience, laid back, brought back a lot of memories and he's still got the voice! Thanks for the many years of music! I would go again in a heartbeat...and the best part is that it helped to benefit the Children's Center!
Neal E. Boyd is a hometown boy so we knew we were going to love watching him! He was phenominal! We wish he could have sang more of course! We were not really looking "forward" to Kenny. How wrong we were! He ALSO put on a fabulous and very entertaining show for all ages. I reminisced over old songs and even my 10 yr old son loved it!

The show was everything I expected.......He took me back to my YOUNGER years as he sang. But the really neat thing was that ALL the MONIES went to the Childrens Center, He took nothing. I was glad I donated to the Childrens Center and am looking forward to His return.
This is the second time I have seen Kenny Rogers....he just keeps getting better and better, his voice is magnificent!!!! A great entertainer!!!! I have most all of his cd's !!! Haven't heard a Kenny Rogers song I didn't like!!!!
The music was excellent...hit after hit after hit.. He interacted a lot with the audience. Very personable and funny, and had his 4 year old's and his wife on stage. I'd love to see him again.
Never again at Blue Chip unless you get the first couple of rows which is reserved for high rollers.
OMG, amazaing . . . I would give the show infinity stars if it was possible!
