Really enjoyed all the artists that performed! The venue was also very nice although the bar/cocktail experience left a lot to be desired. Lastly, given all the talent That performed, I would have preferred the concert started earlier so that the 4 hour event doesn’t last until midnight (or at least provide a heads up regarding concert length).
Kenny Lattimore's performance is excellent but the Terrace Theater venue in Long beach is bad. They have a lot of issues with the sound system. Mike system is not working not only once but multiple times.
I will never go back to Long Beach Terrace for a concert . The sound was so horrible, it took away from the concert. For Najee and the harpist , you could barely hear their instruments! I don’t know if Long Beach Terrace was the fault or Rainbow Production. Either way, people pay good money to see a great performance, not one constantly interrupted by a terrible sound person! Make sure you fire him or her!!!! And then the star of the show Kenny Lattimore only performed for one hour. Sorry Rainbow Productions, you failed big time!!!!
Pricing for VIP was reasonable for the entire package! Dinner was amazing, well structured, easy process, great violinist for entertainment and food was much better than anticipated. This portion receives 5 stars! Although the artist lineup was incredible the concert portion has many opportunities for improvement. First, the terrace employees who direct seating had no clue where the seats were so people were left to fend for themselves and find their own seating, it was a bit frustrating. Second, the sound was an absolute disaster. Mics weren’t working for the most part and we couldn’t hear the primary artists playing, singing or talking. Such a great group of artists but such a shame we couldn’t hear them for most of the time there. Audio was definitely off. Sound check needs to be on point and there should be back up Mics that actually work.
Great line-up however, Horrible sound system for the entire event. Kenny is best in smaller intimate setting venues
Kenny Lattimore performance was excellent. I’m sorry that the crowd left so soon. The event with all the performers was absolutely beautiful. My husband had tears in his eyes during performance. Thank you for a beautiful night.
The first act the sound was bad, not the performers but the mixing on the music. We could hardly hear the vocals. The main mic was terrible. The second act, Najee was amazing, the sound was much better. He was GREAT. Kenny Lattimore was Amazing as well. I was very disappointed that a proper sound check was not done. I paid a lot of money to hear the Musicians I love. He sounded great when he sang by his self, but again the sound mix was not right. The bass and the drums were too loud. Should have been a better mix.
Kenny an Najee were excellent!! Kenny is a very talented singer! The opening performances were very disappointing! There were many talented singers, musicians; however the acoustics were sadly horrible! The audience struggled trying to hear them. This could have been avoided if the sound technicians ensured, before the show, the mics were all working properly.
Big screens are needed so we can see the performers up close. The feedback and mics kept going out. The show was too long. Kenny Lattimore should have been done by 11 pm not starting at 11pm. We left early because of the time and he wasn’t singing his hits first. Najee and the others were great!
The line up was stellar. Parking to the venue was easy and leaving the venue wasn't an issue, as sometimes it is. The show itself was great, it took a bit long between sets, therefore the show ran long. It would've been great to have food at the venue. Once before they had food trucks outside and that was great. This time I left a bit early because I was famished. The sound system was a bit off. They kept having issues and at times some of the instruments drowned out the main musician. All in all I love the venue and the shows Rainbow Productions puts on.
Dinner before the show was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised with the 3 course meal that was served. The artist lineup was awesome but what ruined the experience was the sound system. Between not queuing up the mics on time, levels not being set properly, vocals were over-shadowed by the band... It took away from the overall experience. I understand it was Rainbow Productions first show back in about 2 years. Looking forward for the next one.
The most I heard was the drums and other instruments and not so much the artists.
Kenny and Najee were great!! Both had clear sounds!! The performances before them had talented artists;however, we could not clearly hear what they were saying, singing, instruments sounds etc. Very poor sounds! It appeared the sound persons did not do their job!

Kenny was a bit extra with his dance moves me and my girl got a few great laughs in over it, but after he settled down it got much better. I wanted more old songs but he finished with one his signature song and it was perfect. All in all it was great show
But in the beginning of the concert their was issues with the sound. I think Kenny should have song more of his older songs ( i.e., Some songs from the Soul Man cd), and other songs from his various cds. Kenny came on after Najee, and it was getting late. Najee had the crowd going. I am a Kenny Lattimore fan. But i think some folks were disappointed with Kenny's choice of music selection.
Didn't really care for the length of the opening act and the horrible sound man, but other than that great concert!!!

Enjoyed the Kenny Lattimore concert. He is amazingly talented. It was good to hear the various genres of music he sang. I would definetly go see him again.
