About

Kenny Chesney has been one of country music’s most prolific crossover artists for almost the entirety of his three-decade career. The Tennessee native has not only notched 17 No. 1s on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, but has topped the mainstream Billboard 200 nine times, and has sold 35 million albums worldwide. He also stands as one of the highest-grossing artists in live music, raking in more than $1.2 billion and selling 17.9 million tickets across his touring career, according to Billboard Boxscore. After kicking off his solo career with 1994’s In My Wildest Dreams, Chesney nabbed his first of 23 No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart with “She’s Got It All” from 1997’s I Will Stand. His 2003 single “There Goes My Life” remained atop the chart for seven weeks, while 2009’s “Out Last Night” marked his career peak on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching No. 16. Chesney earned his first No. 1 album of the new decade with 2020’s Here and Now

    GREAT CONCERT!!!

by LKK on 4/23/24Raymond James Stadium - Tampa

I loved this concert! I loved the music. I like Kenny Chesney and I love the Zac Brown Band and those 2 touring together made for an amazing event. I like Uncle Kracker and Megan was good. I only recognized 2 of her songs but I was extremely happy that I went to this concert. Made me want to buy another boat and get out on the water with these guys. If you get a chance to see them on tour, GO!

    Amazing night!

by $2Bill on 4/23/24Raymond James Stadium - Tampa

As always the energy was off the charts. Kenny sounded great as well as everyone in the band...except the drummer! His mix IMO was bad. The double bass kick was muddy and distorted. Other than that a great night!

    Sun Goes Down 2024

by Dana on 4/23/24Raymond James Stadium - Tampa

Loved the line up. ZBB unexpectedly played seemingly a full concert. MM was good as was UK, but sometimes hard to hear between mike changes - especially when he came out with KC. KC played songs that everyone knew instead of hits from new album (aside from Take Her Home). But he said that was how the show would be played on NSR. The sound sometimes varied to not being able to hear the lyrics from the artist. Some of the videos (Get Along and showing opening) seemed recycled from previous tours. KC came out for a one song encore and exited prior to encore with a quick exit. Both of these seemed uncharacteristically Kenny. But, the crowded didn’t seem as loud as 60,000 should have sounded to bring him back out either. You can do a 100 things good - and the show did do that - and a few things bad and it’s the bad that sticks. We discussed the concert the following day and surmised that full rehearsals just didn’t go on long enough. It wasn’t playing the songs, those were flawless. It was the things like: the uncomfortable numerous hugs between UK and KC; MM literally saying “what do you want me to do?”, when brought out at the end and then her not knowing the words to his songs so she just sat there; the production crew replaying the ALC video for the opening of ZBB because the sound didn’t match the video; to KC going to take a drink with UK but forgetting to introduce the band so he switched gears to introduce the band and then forgot to have a drink with UK. Loved the show though, as always. However, we did leave felling a little disappointed.

Best concert I've ever been to.

by Iceman Ed K on 4/23/24Raymond James Stadium - Tampa

This was the best concert I've ever attended. Great venue for this outdoor concert. Kenny Chesney with Zac Brown Band, and Uncle Cracker was the ultimate all star line up. Great job by venue security and Tampa Police Department. Over 50,000 in attendance and noone had to be removed for bad behavior. Breing disabled, fans offered me help and took pictures of me that I posted on Facebook. Met new people there and enjoyed the concert with them. Great job on behalf of Raymond James Stadium Staff, Tampa Police Department, and the Bands the performed.

    Kenny Chesney Concert

by KC Jaramillo on 4/23/24Raymond James Stadium - Tampa

Attended Kenny Chesney’s “Sun Goes Down” concert at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa and it was amazing! Everything was labeled and clean. The staff at the stadium and parking areas were super professional and efficient. The concert itself was AMAZING!! Loved listening to all 3 opening shows. Would definitely attend another concert at this stadium and will go anywhere to see Kenny!

    Kenny Chesney show

by Scotty on 4/23/24Raymond James Stadium - Tampa

Great show!! Beer was Waaay to expensive. Ridiculous pricing

    Just average

by Mike on 4/23/24Raymond James Stadium - Tampa

Poor merch line management. There should have been several convenient places in a stadium that big to buy merch. The one spot on the floor kept the aisles blocked around it. The bars and tiki huts for alcohol were a mess. There was no organization to the lines so there was a lot on confusion and congestion in that area. Just a few simple things would have improved the experience. And the quality of the performances was only average. This seems to be a chronic problem for the first stop on any tour, not just Kenny or Zac

    Absolutely amazing

by NDChesneyfan on 4/23/24Raymond James Stadium - Tampa

First time in Tampa to kick off Kenny Chesney’s tour. Amazing from start to finish. Ease of ticket retrieval, entry and fun. Only two downfalls- vendor outside stadium said purchase can be brought in (we should’ve known better) and no bathrooms on the field. However lines were not long when one did get to the concourse. Neither have anything to do with tickets specifically though.

    Great Show

by WardFamily on 4/23/24Raymond James Stadium - Tampa

Great show and the performance by Zac Brown was beyond what was expected. Kenny, great as always, but we were all disappointed that his set did not last as long as it normally does. Last time we saw him he was on stage for 3+ hours!!!! Overall, great show.

    Amazing night!

by Korey Chase on 4/23/24Raymond James Stadium - Tampa

Seeing Kenny is like a once in a lifetime experience that replays itself every year as long as he continues to tour. The man has mastered his vocals and only gets better. Very few artists sound better in person than on the radio but when it comes to Kenny he sounds 100X better in person. No wait, 1,000,000X better. Just incredible!

    Sun Goes down tour

by Lysette on 4/23/24Raymond James Stadium - Tampa

Zac Brown Band, Uncle Kracker, Megan Maroney and Kenny Chesney put on an electrifying concert. Kenny was one ball of energy and put on a memorable performance.

    Disappointing

by concert maven on 4/23/24Raymond James Stadium - Tampa

Although the bands and singing were good, the producers did not show the concert on all the available big screens. Also instead of having the performers in the middle of the arena, the stage was at one end and recessed so it was very difficult to see the performers. They only used a couple small screens at stage level so when people stood (which is expected), it was impossible to even see the screens. It was like listening to a stereo outside.
