by fattykoo on 10/19/12Club Nokia - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Was refreshing to finally get in some legit hip hop. Kendrick is a 5 star performer and knows how to get the crowd going. Played all the right songs, lead in to the songs were awesome, crowd involvement was consistent and he even brought out Dr. Dre and TIP Jay rock, fly union, and ab-soul were dope as well

was fire !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! performed all his old hits and new hits. he brought out the game, dr. dre. big sean. highlights was when he performed with the game acapella in his last verse. also when dre came out to perferm compton song and the recipe song. this was a west coast nite you'll never forget. one problem was that there was too many people upstairs with no seats lol

  • Kendrick was Amazing

    by cyrusthegreat87 on 10/19/12Club Nokia - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Kendrick's performance was amazing. First all of the opening act (Stalley, Jay Rock, Ab Soul) put on great performances. The stage set up was very unique, made to look like Kendricks neighborhood in Compton. Kendrick was lyrically on fire. His breathe control was amazing, fast rapping on songs like "Rigamortis" without taking a breath or skipping a beat, a feat highly skilled rappers like Nas aren't even able to pull of in live performances. He performed a good mixture of song from his last two releases, "(O)verly (D)edicated" and "Section 80.0" and his new album "Good Kid in A m.a.a.d City" (though I would have liked to hear a little bit more off of "(O)verly (D)edicated"). On top of that there were some amazing, unexpected guess appearances from the Game and Dr. Dre. All in all, one of the best live performances from a hip hop artist I've seen to date.

Kendrick Lamar killed it out there! I would recommend this show to all my friends.

  • Kendrick Lamar is definitely the BEST LYRICIST...

by drikeys on 10/19/12Club Nokia - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Although the show did not start on time, something I really did not expect, every single artist performed as if it were their last show. It was a great venue, even though it got a little warm.

Words do not explains how dope Kendrick Lamar. Very thing was perfect including the venue. The only thing that I can think of, is I wish we would have played more of my favorite songs.

  • Kendrick Lamar was unbelievable !

by Cooliex3 on 9/29/12Filmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

Kendrick Lamar was simply amazing. The pre show was LIVE and the old school hip hop was amazing. When all the introducing acts came out, I wasnt getting hype because I didn't listen to any of them. But when Kendrick came out, he shut it down. He was very interactive with the crowd and asked for our favorite songs for him to perform. The next time he is in Miami, I WILL MAKE SURE I go. One of the greatest artists of all time

  • K.dot

    by Nikki905 on 9/24/12Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I had THE most amazing time at Kendrick Lamar's concert. He brought so much energy and did not make his fans wait to long. Also LOVED the intimate nature of the concert. I respect him far more now as an emcee, and will be waiting for him to come back for another concert.

  • Everything You Expected

    by d33z on 9/19/12Terminal 5 - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, then Kendrick Lamar. From the first song to the last, it was an incline in energy the entire night. Can't wait to see them again.

  • by YeezIsUs on 9/18/12Howard Theatre - WashingtonRating: 4 out of 5

This was a great concert. I wish schoolboy Q would have did his verse to some songs though instead of just standing on stage

  • When you do it like this, losing aint an option.

by kapilicus on 9/18/12Wilbur Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Simply the most fun I've had at a concert. Looking forward to more Kendrick moving forward and more real hiphop.

  • Hii Power

by MoBoopThanBetty on 9/18/12Wilbur Theatre - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

I think I've found my future husband. His performance filled me up...can't wait to see him again

  • Solid, not epic.

by JimmyTheW on 9/18/12Wilbur Theatre - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

Solid performance. But he's getting big enough now that he should bring more than just a DJ to back him up. Bring a band and a DJ next time. A rapper solo feels like karaoke to me. PLus the sound at the Wibur is ok, not great, and it's a better venue for live music.
