  • Kelli & Seth

by Mary on 1/17/19Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

It was a wonderful night of fun conversation between Kelli and Seth topped off by Kelli's beautiful voice. My husband and I were glad we made the trip.

  • A Complete Star

by Michael D on 1/17/19Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Loved the bright star that Kelly O’Hara is and the format that Seth Rudetsky does the musical presentation and the interview....MORE...MORE...MORE. KELLY is funny, personable and has an angelic voice. Look forward to seeing her new broadway show

  • We thought Kelli was fabulous.

by Jill on 1/17/19Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

We loved Kelli's interview, her humor, song selection, and of course her voice. She makes you feel like you are an old friend. Seth not so much. He talked so fast we could barely understand him and had a certain unappealing arrogance about him. Good piano player though!!!

  • Kelli O'Hara charms, even without an orchestra!

by Ellen S. on 1/17/19Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I enjoyed everything about this show. Kelli O'Hara was charming, funny and in fine voice. She bantered with Seth Rudetsky, and it was obvious that the two have a long-time professional relationship where they are very comfortable with each other, even in front of an audience. I have seen nearly every show that Ms. O'Hara has appeared in on Broadway, and will continue to do so, but this evening was just a lot of fun. Town Hall is a great venue; ticket prices were within reason, and I enjoyed the entire event very much.

  • She's got it all!

Charming, beautiful, funny, and OMG - what a voice! A magnificent performance!

  • Kiss Me Kelli

by Britpopguy on 1/17/19Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Town Hall was an immaculate venue visually and acoustically for this show. Ms. O'Hara sounded as pristine as ever, with her great range, charm, and accessibility. Ending the show with "So In Love" was perfect. While I could have used a couple of more songs and a little less patter from Seth, it was still a great evening and makes me look forward even more than before to "Kiss Me Kate."

  • Sensational one night only

by susieq on 1/17/19Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Kelli is adorable and amazing and performed songs from many of the signature musicals she has been in along with some other meaningful ones as well as the history of her career path. Seth is delightful and his knowledge and musicality underscore why he is contributing to maintaining the American musical Songbook.

  • Heaven on earth

    by V. W. on 1/17/19Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Kelli O’Hara is one of a kind. Every song she sings as though it were a three act play. Her marvelous acting matches her magnificent voice and she is full of warmth, humor and intelligence. I was simply swept away. And Seth Rudetsky was both playful and depthful in his interviewing process. It was a great collaborative effort. Pure joy!

  • kelli is a magnifcient singer with enormous personality

    by m. b. on 1/17/19Town Hall - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Seth R. speaks so fast we could not understand half of what he said. We would have much preferred more singing/conversation from Kelli and less of Seth We will not see any shows where he serves as interviewer

  • Enjoyable Evening

Kelli O'Hara was well worth seeing. She's talented and down to Earth. I would see her again.

  • Marvelous vocalist with splendid musical backup

by Carpinteria on 10/17/16Valley Performing Arts Center - NorthridgeRating: 4 out of 5

Having seen Kelli O'Hara multiple times on Broadway, I was very excited to learn that she was coming to the L.A. area. Hitting nearly every note with near perfection (Auto tune might have been useful, but only here and there), her performance backed up with wondrous orchestrations of all of the songs that greatly expanded the depth and breadth of a deceptively small group that sounded, at times, more like a full orchestra. Marvelous arrangements and flawless musicians! The Valley Arts Center seems to be staffed with pleasant and enthusiastic volunteers and paid professionals, but the facility doesn't quite "make it," with insufficient restrooms, incredibly bizarre seating configurations that prohibit reasonably rapid egress at intermission or after a performance. I had forgotten how much of a white elephant the place really is. In all, the "concert" was wonderful, the artist superb (never mind the occasional pejorative comments about the L.A. area), and everyone in attendance seemed to really enjoy the evening.

  • Broadway's Classic Hits with Kelli O'Hara And Nath

by msggazu on 10/29/12Tilles Center Concert Hall - GreenvaleRating: 2 out of 5

Voices were exceptional, orchestra as well. Concept of vignettes was terrific. Broadway classics , to me, means the best of the best song. In my estimation, there were 2 to 3 truly classic tunes. Rest were forgettable or unfamiliar. Someone behind me commented to her companion, " I never heard that before." Classic hits? Far from it. Selections were extremely disappointing. Explanations need to be clearer so expectations are met by attendees.

  • Nothing to write home about

by stecaro on 10/24/12Valley Performing Arts Center - NorthridgeRating: 2 out of 5

Pros: Great venue. Excellent voices. Cons: Poor choice of musical selections. Other than Sperling, no interaction with audience. Seemed more like a "music appreciation class" than a show. Nathan Gunn -BORING! Kelli O'Hara- beautiful - both in looks and voice. I felt that they could have done a lot more, in terms of musical selection. Why sing songs from Broadway show flops? No one cares. Bottom Line: Great talent wasted on boring songs and no connection with audience.

  • Kelli O'Hara was absolutely delightful!!!

by NYCockeyedOptimist on 6/9/11Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

What a treat Kelli O'Hara's concert was for me! Kelli has such a beautiful voice and is such a gracious and charming presence on the stage! She made the concert very personal in sharing the songs from her new CD, "Always," and other songs she obviously loves to sing and has shared with her audiences in other settings. Between numbers, Kelli chats with the audience as if we are all friends. To hear her sing so many wonderful songs and fill them with such emotion was unforgettable for me. I was touched by her joy in "What More Do I Need" and "He Loves Me," her heartbreak in "This Nearly Was Mine" and "The Party's Over," her wonder in "How Glory Goes," and her absolute delight in "I Could Have Danced All Night." I enjoyed Kelli's surprises as well when she sang the Beatles' "Love You Forever" with her husband, Greg Naughton, a James Taylor song with Greg and her father-in-law, James Naughton, and Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young's "Carry On" with the League of Broadway Super Friends, a new group with which she and Greg are singing to help raise money for worthy causes. I do hope that this lovely and multi-talented leading lady is back on Broadway very soon! I also hope that Kelli O'Hara treats us once again to another wonderful evening like this !

  • I melt in Kelli O'Hara's presence

    by MTfan360 on 6/7/11Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I've been enchanted with Kelli O'Hara for many years now -- her stunning voice, lovely acting, and exquisite beauty are a killer combination. But after seeing her only in stage roles, I was particularly charmed with what she was like "in person." She was so at ease and appealing, and she and the band really seemed like a team. The selection of material was wide-ranging, and it was great to hear her share styles of music that I don't really know. The special material that Dan Lipton and ??? wrote for her regarding being a country singer who wants to sing at the Met was priceless. I look forward to seeing her again and again, in both theatrical roles and cabaret appearances. Thank you, Kelli O'Hara!

  • Kelli O'Hara was sublime

    by CMV11231 on 6/6/11Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Kelli O'Hara sang from her current album, and was musically supported by a top-notch combo of players, including her long-time Music Director. She was ably supported by her husband, Greg Naughton, and his father, James Naughton, and she offered a musical treat, in the form of the 5-member group Broadway Super Friends. They presented a preview of music they plan to sing on Tuesday, June 7th, at Le Poisson Rouge. The concert was just lovely - a solid collection of both Ms O'Hara's old favorites", and some new material.
