  • Amazing!

    by Amadancer1 on 1/6/20Parker Playhouse - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

I love Seth and this format. It is so comfortable and natural. We saw the show with Seth and Jessie Mueller last year and really enjoyed it. I’m so glad we bought the series this year. Kelli O’Hara is phenomenal and she was terrific. What a great personality and incredible voice. I love everything she’s done, especially King and I and Bridges of Madison County. She told us about the impact of the song To Build a Home, how she resonated with it having a son and a daughter, and how it was so life-changing for her. When she sang it, it was full of emotion and I had tears streaming down my face. Judging by the sniffling I heard, I wasn’t the only one. So moving! The show was fabulous!

  • Great evening

by Panpal on 1/6/20Parker Playhouse - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Seth Rudetsky always provides such an entertaining evening for anyone who likes Broadway at all. He is incredibly knowledgeable and talented as well. He accompanies his guest, whoever it may be, on the piano and vocally. Kelli O'Hara has such a beautiful voice and expansive range and has been in so many shows that they can't possibly cram in all but you get a great taste of her talent plus all the anecdotes the 2 of them provide. We always go to the Parker Playhouse whenever Seth is there.

The evening exceeded my expectations. Seth is so knowledgeable about anything Broadway. Kelli is fabulous and it was wonderful to learn about her and her life.

Splendid evening of entertainment and conversation. Kelly is an amazing talent with a great personality. Seth always inquisitive , funny and incredibly knowledgeable on all things Broadway. it was as though we were at a private party where the hosts performed and made you feel close and comfortable.

  • Gala fund raiser with Kelli O'Hara, Amber Rielly, and Chita

by p. l. on 11/4/19Music Hall At Fair Park - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Great show! Amber's voice has only gotten better since Glee and I thought it was excellent then! Kelli's rendition of Opry vs. Opera was a downhome hoot! She was very entertaining! It was nice to see the cream of DFW's high school talent included in the show and they were excellent as well! Chita Rivera's stories and commentaries were funny and entertaining too. Whoever wrote her monologues/comments needs a raise!

  • Broadway Came to Dallas - Big Time!

by TomDFW on 11/4/19Music Hall At Fair Park - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

BROADWAY came to DALLAS on the night of November 2, 2019! Chita Rivera, Kelli O’Hara, Adam Pascal (Rent), Amber Riley (Glee) and Caisie Levy (Frozen) were all at the Dallas Summer Musical’s annual Gala on Friday. Not only were the headliners amazing, but the two surprise guest just blew the event out of the water. Even better was the participation of local high school students. Imagine how they must feel getting to share the stage with these talented greats for this once-in-a-lifetime show. I was beyond blown away by the show, and plan on going again next year.

  • Fantastic show. The surprise performers were an added treat

  • Kelli Never Fails To Deliver

    by T-MAC on 1/20/19Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

The first show I saw Kelli in was The Pajama Game with Harry Connick Jr. and I've been a fan ever since. She has one of the greatest voices that's ever been heard on Broadway. I thought this concert would be a way hear stories of her experiences on the 'Great White Way' and then hear some songs from those shows. She sang 'I Could Have Danced All Night' well I could have listened all night. The two hours went much too quickly. Seth Rudetsky turned out to be a wonderful accompanist on the piano. Can't wait to see Kelli in Kiss Me Kate.

  • diappointing

I expected singing not conversation. I was not interested in the details of Ms. O'Hara's career. I did not know any of the people that she mentioned. The actual singing was great, the rest boring and disappointing.

  • Missed it

    by J on 1/18/19Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

But was thoroughly enjoyed by my guests who went in my stead

  • She sang to me!

    by Preppy2 on 1/18/19Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Kelli O'Hara is amazing, but I already knew that. After spending time with her and Seth, however, I now know that she is REALLY amazing. It was such a gift to listen to her share her story, so freely and honestly. And when she sang, I truly felt she was singing just for me. And Seth was the perfect host, as always. (I confess I am a bit jealous of him.) It was a wonderful evening that I will always remember. Thank you!
