KELLER WILLIAMS IN CONCERT:
Jam master Keller Williams is the kind of performer who's so rare and so multitalented audiences will be raving about him for years to come. In concert Williams bounces around the stage while conjuring up infectious grooves one sound at a time through virtuosic looping -- a technique that allows him to recreate the sound of a full band onstage by crafting intricate arrangements with a variety of instruments. It's a skill that he's perfected over the course of his nearly 25-year career, and it's as mesmerizing as ever during his unmissable performances. Whether he's playing alone or with one of his several backing bands, ticket buyers are treated to high-energy, feel-good shows that showcase Williams' quirky songwriting, joyous stage persona, and masterful musicianship.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Since first appearing on the scene in the early '90s, Virginia native Keller Williams has earned a glowing reputation as a one-man jam band. Williams is a self-taught musician who grew up heavily influenced by artists like The Grateful Dead and guitar virtuoso Michael Hedges, and by genres ranging from bluegrass and reggae to electronica. Throughout his career Williams has fused all of those inspirations together to create genre-bending music that is astoundingly innovative. He's toured with several popular jam bands -- including Umphrey's McGee, Yonder Mountain String Band, and The String Cheese Incident -- and wowed crowds at festivals like Bonnarroo, AllGood, and Rothbury. Beginning with his 1995 debut album Freek, Williams has made more than 20 records, both as a solo artist and as a collaborator with acts such as The Travelin' McCourys, More Than A Little, The String Cheese Incident, and The Keels. With an ever-growing fanbase and tons of talent to spare, Keller Williams is a thrilling live act concertgoers won't want to miss.

First time seeing Keller. The show far exceeded my expectations. I will see him again any time he is in the area.
This was my first time seeing Keller and my fiance's 5th time. It was awesome and he did a wonderful live concert. Can't wait to see him again!
Keller Williams put on a stellar performance as always!
This is a difficult review. I can't really say how I felt about the show because it was so hard to watch. Keller Williams and his crew flew into Cincinnati and their luggage didn't make it. So right from the moment they landed they had issues, they had to run to Guitar Center to get everything before the show started. Once the show was under way there were so many interruptions to fix the amp, tune the guitar, deal with technical issues. So my review isn't great, we didn't enjoy the show, but I can't blame Keller Williams, or the 20th Century Theatre...I blame the airlines!
I cant imagine going to a Keller Williams show and not having a blast. The atmosphere he creates along with the great music is on another level.
This was my first time seeing Keller and he is a non-stop stream-of-conscious musical madman running between instruments, laying down tracks on the loop machine. Basically a one man band recording tracks as he improvises right before your eyes. Very enjoyable for the DeadHead crowd especially, as he does several of their songs.
Keller put on an amazing show, so free and wild! Loved it!
I enjoyed seeing Keller perform solo for the three hours he performed. He puts so much energy into his music. This was another wonderful performance put on by Keller.
Keller was unforgettable and The Pimps of Joytime were amazing!!! The National is an awesome venue and the staff was by far PERFECTION!
So much fun, next time I would bring my 2 yr old...my 4 yr old loved it!
Keller Williams n the Pimps of Joytown rocked the Norva like none before. So many people asked me "have you seen him before?", and they were blown away by keller's talent.
the music was unfortunately not why the majority of the people came. the underage crowd was more interested in throwing glowsticks and talking loudly rather than listening to and enjoying the music. Keller and the Pimps were great but I was disappointed that they did not interact (join each others sets)
Concert was great! Keller is awesome and the Pimps of joytime are a great addition to play with Keller Williams. The National is a really cool place too!
This truly was a fun event for all ages. My husband and I took my 3 year old baby sister because of our love of Keller. From the interactive drum circle that included bongos, tambourines, morocas, and more to the confetti and balloon drop, it was enjoyed by each of us! The music was upbeat and Keller knew just how to keep even a 3 year old interested!!
Keller Williams is one of those unforgettable musicians who you know when you see him on stage that he loves what he does, he loves the music and he loves feeling the vibe of others feeling his vibe, which is love for music. Get it? Now buy a ticket.
Keller played an awesome show full of energy! He always brings a smile to my face as you can tell he truly enjoys playing music. Awesome show, awesome night! He even came out with the juggling suns after to play some dead tunes. He'll never disappoint.
the show was great for kids. took a 10 & 2 year old, they both loved it!
Needs More singing less JAM sessions overall he was good
The kids had an awesome time! The drum circle was a lot of fun and got the kids energized for the show. (Which was important, because it started around nap time!) Keller kept them entertained, as did the balloons and the confetti. I hope the kids grow up to appreciate his music as much as we do!
