KAYTRANADA IN CONCERT:
Ever since his 2010 debut, visionary DJ and producer Kaytranada has been blowing up dance floors around the world with his epic remixes and pulse-pounding original tracks. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Haitian-born, Montreal-raised Kaytranada, aka Louis Kevin Celestin, began to DJ at age 14 and started producing the following year after his brother introduced him to music software. He made his debut in 2010 under the moniker Kaytradamus, releasing an impressive string of albums under that alias before renaming himself Kaytranada in 2013 and dropping the album Kaytra Todo. Since then his hip hop-influenced productions and remixes have made him a fixture on the global club circuit, with performances in more than 50 cities around the world. In addition to his own tracks Kaytranada has produced for a growing list of up-and-coming artists that includes Kali Uchis, Freddie Gibbs, and Mick Jenkins. With his cutting-edge sound and energetic live sets, Kaytranada brings an unforgettable dance party to ticket buyers every time he hits the road on tour.

by Rando Cando on 1/5/22Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoIt was okay. Kaytranda could have DJ'd longer than an hour since it was a NYE show. The countdown was very nice with the balloon drop. I just wish the show was longer since a lot of us definitely got COVID that night. I could've dance for like another 30 minutes. Hopefully, he comes back and we can all party a bit longer.

He’s recovering from foot surgery and is still in a boot so I do appreciate them taking us up the elevator and getting us to a seat.

The visual effects he used were great and went along with the beats and music. Kaytranada was filled with positivity and he was loving the crowd interactions. You can tell he really love his craft. The audience interactions was also great. Everyone was sending good and friendly vibes. It was an unbelievable experience and I will attend again when he come back to DC.

by DC on 10/18/21The Anthem - WashingtonDespite a clear non-smoking policy at The Anthem, the staff did not enforce this at all and there was so much smoking during the concert that it became truly unbreathable for people with respiratory issues. Had to leave within 10 minutes of the concert starting.

by E M N’Diaye on 10/17/21The Anthem - WashingtonThis was my first concert ever and I was pretty nervous because I went by myself, so the first thing I really appreciated was how well the venue communicated the logistics of getting there and being there on its website. I was well prepared because of this which left me more headspace to focus on enjoying myself. When I got there, everything was well organized, and I felt very safe. The staff were all really friendly and professional. The space was gorgeous and no matter where you are, there’s a lot for your eyes to take in. The energy during both Sango’s & KAYTRANADA’s sets were unmatched. They were on time and their performances were beautifully curated and the visuals were stunning. All the pictures and videos I have from the evening look like something out of a movie. I could not have been happier with my experience at The Anthem and my experience seeing KAYTRANADA perform and Sango open for him. It was well worth what I paid and I would absolutely see him again, and come to The Anthem for more shows in the future.
