Kate Clinton, in addition to being hilarious, is one of our most insightful observers of current political developments, and she leaves no hypocrisy unchallenged. "What can one do but laugh?", she seems to say, and then shows that biting irony and fierce opposition are OK, too.
I've seen Kate three times now -- but it's been four or five years since I saw her last. She's fantastic. I think she's a really intelligent comic. Her political humor kills me. She's a riot -- and an icon. Definitely worth going.

I am a late convert to the comic charms of Kate Clinton; but like most converts, my zeal is unbounded. As she proclaimed herself, it is a wonder that someone who spent the Bush years riffing off of the considerable comic fodder in that administration has anything left to turn into comedy! But Kate Clinton has defied the naysayers and shows herself to be a keen observer of the American political landscape and the human condition. I laughed out loud, head thrown back, deep and often, until I almost couldn't breathe. Asthmatics, do not leave home without your inhalers!
Kate once again, has kept up with all the current news, and somehow makes us laugh about it. The ticket price, however, kept a lot of people away – $45 for a show is a lot of money these days. Kate – be reasonable!

Kate has a phenominal wit, and tackles political and LGBT issues with ease. She has a command of current issues, and does not give any politician a "free" pass, including Obama. . She is so comfortable in her own skin, and makes you feel that you are an old friend. After her show, she stayed around to sign autographs...something tht doesn't always happen with entertainers. This was my third time to see her, and I can't wait for her next show! An incredible wit, woman, and role model.

Don't even try to eat while listening to Kate Clinton's monologue. It's dangerous to your health. She's hilarious - touches most every political and current event on the table. And most appealing - makes no apologies. Can't get enough.
Kate Clinton keeps you entertained and laughing throughout her set. She unfortunately did not perform nearly long enough - just over an hour and she has so much material and there is so much going on politically lately that she could have gone a bit longer. Other than that keep the Catholic jokes coming!
As a first time attendee at Birchmere, I loved the space and the sound system. Great energy, food, and K8 was GREAT!! tx

One had to wonder what Kate Clinton would do now that "W" is gone. Not a problem -- she is even better than ever. Brilliant, hilarious, insightful. One problem -- with her upstate NY inflections, she sounds like my Aunt Mary, who would never, ever have said that!
Watching Kate is so fun....she's so funny and her politics are right on. She makes you feel good about yourself and who you are.
If you want to laugh for several hours - and even learn a thing or two - this is the show for you. Kate Clinton is funnier than ever. Love her!
Had a great time and tons of laughs at the Kate Clinton show at the Ark in Ann Arbor. She is on top of her game with mainly political satire and humorous reflections. Keep up the great work.
....from laughing! This woman has not lost her touch -- up-to-the-minute political skewering and a delivery that's as funny and endearing as ever. To paraphrase HER take on it -- "I'm not getting bitchy -- I'm just a quart low on estrogen and I don't have time to flirt." Love, love, LOVE our Kate!
