"Kaskade's signature sound is as unmistakable as it is beautiful; a combination of dewy female vocals, tough electronic underpinnings, and memorable melodies." -- Billboard
The New York Times may have called him the "new face of electronic dance music" in a recent profile, but Ryan Raddon, known as Kaskade, has been in the trenches of the EDM scene as an original recording artist and in-demand DJ for more than a decade. He has released seven studio albums, including his latest, Fire & Ice, scored nine Top 10 hits on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay Chart, created chart-topping remixes for everyone from Lady Gaga to Beyoncé, appeared at all the major summer festivals, and has performed between 150 and 200 headlining shows a year for the last 10 years, building a name for himself as an innovator of the EDM scene as we know it today, which has opened doors for the likes of Deadmau5, Tiesto, Skrillex and more. In doing so, he has helped to lay the groundwork for a titanic musical and cultural shift: a post-rock EDM revolution that has captured the imagination of a new generation of music lovers across North America.
Kaskade has been named America's No. 1 DJ by DJ Times and Pioneer DJ. In 2012, he will appear at this year's Coachella and Electric Daisy Carnival festivals, for which he has special performances planned, and will hit the road in June for his biggest headlining tour ever — 70-plus North American shows in just over three months. His own live show is a jaw-dropping spectacle that finds him performing in front of an 80-foot wide, three-stories tall LED screen that blares images synched with the music while strobe lights scan the crowd. Kaskade's belief in the transformative power of dance music to uplift thousands of people at once has had a significant effect on the U.S. scene. His ground-breaking double residency in Las Vegas at the Encore Beach Club (which had not even been built when he signed on) and Marquee has elevated the city's status as a premiere club-going destination on par with London, Berlin, and Ibiza, is another testament to his influence.
Growing up in the Chicago suburbs, Raddon was heavily influenced by New Wave bands like The Cure, Echo and The Bunnymen, and The Smiths that ignited his love for melody and lyrics and was strongly impacted by the house music scene that developed in Chicago. Following stints spinning throughout college and in A&R at OM Records, he began working on his own music, which includes multiple singles, EPs, and remixes, as well as the albums: his most recent 2011 release Fire & Ice -- which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Chart, No. 3 on the Independent Albums chart, and No. 17 on the Top 200 Albums chart, while the iTunes version debuted at No. 4 on the overall album chart. The Fire disc contains ten original songs geared firmly toward the dancefloor, while on the Ice disc, Kaskade delivers the perfect down-tempo post-club experience by remixing all ten songs. Both discs showcase the musical versatility tat has characterized his work ever since he began writing his own songs. This album was preceded by It's You, It's Me (2003), In the Moment (2004), The Calm (2006), Here & Now (2006), Love Mysterious (2006), Strobelite Seduction (2008), Dynasty (2010) and Dance.Love (2010).

I had a great time. Very enjoyable. Everyone who loves music should attend a KASKADE gig!!!
I bought the meet & greet tickets, because.. how many times am I going to meet Kaskade and actually get to talk to him (for a minute...)? The experience was AWESOMESAUCE! There is NOTHING negative to say about Kaskade, or his music! However, I will say... whoever ran the meet & greet didn't have their info together I think.. many of us got the wrong pack of goodies and they didn't give us our M&G sticker initially. =/ Imagine if we hadn't been paying attention to the people that went ahead of us..? Also, I don't think they did a very thorough sound check.. the bass was blown WAYYY out from the speakers along the sides of the stage! Kaskade himself and this whole opportunity that he gave us to hang out with him for a few minutes was AMAZING. The sound and unorganized entry was the only thing that made me give it "4 Stars". I would do it all over again next time this comes around!!! One last thing... the people that got all hammered or super high before K even came on.. You can't see it, but I'm making a face at you.
Good times with good friends. The sound guy needs to be fired tho - wow. Talk about blowing out the speakers
What an amazing experience and I cannot believe it was GA... next time I'll be getting there before the doors open! What an insane turn out. The party was on like donkey kong. Perfectly executed set and the crowd was jumping! I lalalalove the Sleep Train Amphitheater. Can't wait to go back
Bought VIP and the experience was so worth it! The VIP pit area gave us plenty room to dance and bottled water was on hand. I normally just do general seating but so glad I went all out this time as Kaskade is one of my favorites! Great show!
It was amazing!!!!! So much fun with great music!!!!
I'm not a fan of EDM, but I went because my boyfriends wanted to. He had a lot of energy and it was a lot of fun.
Awesome show, thanks. We haven't seen Kaskade since EDC 2 years ago.
His set was so incredible and diverse. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of hard style that was incorporated. The crowd, however, was something to be desired. There were a lot of boisterous "bros" jostling everyone around (at least where I was standing).
Amazing production and kaskade's set length was awesome!
Kaskade was simply amazing live. It was my first time going to one of his concerts and it was definitely worth going! The people were all nice. It didn't take long to park and get in to the shrine and we got there almost 30 after the doors opened. The lines to get alcohol where not bad and there was plenty of room to dance. It is even more fun when you are enjoying the concert with a special someone just dancing the night away! Definitely got my money's worth. I will go back to another one of his concerts someday!
I attended the first annual Freaks,Beats && Treats festival in Hidalgo and let me tell you it was a wonderful time!! I was glad to see alot of people dressed up for the event! It didnt take too long before I was let in,which was great. They had local djs and they were all really good as far as their timing and how long they performed,it was very organized. The opening Djs were so Bomb!! They all were there for the same amount of time, put on a great show and were sooo much fun. The people there were nice and cooperative and so into the show.Alot of people had the "D" for Dirty South,Posters for the Festival, posters for digital lab, they even had Kaskades' face and a banner which was so awesome. I enjoyed myself so much and thought that the organization of the event was so well put together.I hope this Festival continues throughout the years just as amazing as this one was. Most of all, I hope Kaskade comes down to Texas sometime in the future,I'd totally see him again!:B
Kaskade's performance included one of the best lighting displays I have ever seen. I have a lot of respect for the engineers that put it together. I frequent concerts and this performance and experience was truly unique and unforgettable.
Stage was too small, floor was too packed. Could not move easily to access water and bathrooms. Kaskade performed well but was not visible because the stage was too low to the ground
The vibes were amazing, the music was great everything was just perfect! definitely a night to remember.
Kaskade truly outdid his self. The show and his supporting acts were all amazing. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the bar removed our water bottle caps for some stupid reason and everyone was spilling water all over the place. I wish the event info would have clarified that we could bring in outside water bottles.
Honestly, the best show I have ever been too. I have been to my fair share of shows & I usually say that all shows I go to is amazing because they really are but something about this Kaskade show was amazing & stood out from all the others. From the production, to the visual, to the set list, to the amazing crowd & vibes, it was all a perfect night. And of course, my forever favorite DJ, Kaskade made it a hell of a lot better. If I could relive one show out of all the shows that I have been too, this show would definitely be the one. And I'm not being bias because Kaskade is my favorite dj, because this was my 4th seeing him. This show was just perfect.
Basically, Kasakde is a GOD. Given the chance to see him again, i would go in a heartbeat.
If you like edm and/ or swinging your limbs in all sorts of directions, you will not have lived your life completely if you haven't seen kaskade live. Suuuuuch good vibes, nothing but love and literally, you can feel it in the crowd and the atmosphere. Opening acts Late Night Alumni <3 (super amazing) and Amtrac got the crowd going. Kaskade was amazing, like I had expected. Skylar Grey and LIGHTS also came on stage, like uh ok, way to make an incredible show even more incredible!!! Kaskade also did vocals, which was sick! :D The visuals were beyond marvelous. I loved and will always love this night, and everyone who was a part of it. <3 love you kaskade!!!
I had such high expectations for my first time seeing Kaskade and he absolutely blew me away!
