Kandace Springs provided an energetic and beautiful concert at the Vogel. Her material was varied and her voice was dominant. Great show.

Kandace Springs is a talent who deserves a wider audience. She sings, plays piano, commands the stage, engages the audience. She should not be missed!

  • Beauty and Talent Personified

by RockDJazz on 5/5/25Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

Great Musical Performance. Her voice was great from the start and yet it got better as the night went on. Great repertoire with the crowd. Nice trio, great drummer!!! Bass player, mediocre, but Kandace performance overshadowed it for the most part. Would love to have had a saxophone in the band, but again, a great show.

  • Kandace Springs

by Miki on 8/26/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Best live performance since I saw Luther Vandross at the Garden States Arts Center. My husband and son are big music lovers. We all enjoyed the performance. Kandace has a wonderful ability to connect with the audience. Jazz, Blues, Contemporary, all the songs were amazing. Kandace is doing it all as a writer, singer and pianist. Can't wait to hear her again. Bassist, Liany Mateo and Drummer, Camille Gainer Jones were like the icing on the cake. Three poised and creative musicians. Fantastic!

  • See her again and again!

by Dogrocketp on 8/21/23Rating: 5 out of 5

First of all, I’m a musician, so I have a tilted perspective. Kandace is one of the bright young stars as a female vocalist. If you know the American Songbook, you’ll be able to appreciate her stylings even more. She has tremendous charm and charisma, drawing you in to really feel like part of the performance. This was not her usual trio. The bass player was remarkable, and the drummer was very good. They did not know her repertoire as well as I would have liked. In spite of this, I would go to see her with these musicians again. I do wish she had done more of her own songs, she’s a grossly under appreciated songwriter. I believe her song, “Forbidden Fruit” is one of the top tunes ever written. I also believe that she should be followed and seen repeatedly. This is a growing artist who has not yet achieved her full potential. When she does, it’s going to be incredible. As it is, she’s outstanding, and her senses of rhythm and pitch are first rate. One of my favorites.

  • Amazing voice and performer

by RB on 8/21/23Rating: 5 out of 5

If you have a chance to see her in person... do it... she has an amazing voice, personality and enthusiasm you want in a performer. She can sing several styles of music and does and leaves you satisfied with a mix of covers and her own music. She doesn't talk and preach... just sings with a minimal band of great musicians
