Firmly a phenomenon in their home country of Iceland, Kaleo is set to descend upon foreign shores in 2015, bringing a gorgeous blend of folk, blues, country, and rock to a wider mainstream audience in America. Kaleo’s isolated heritage inspires a unique take on familiar sonic elements, resulting in diversity and freedom on each and every breathtaking track. Now, signed to Atlantic Records in the U.S., Kaleo is based in Austin, Texas and has begun touring nationwide. Kaleo’s single, “All The Pretty Girls,” is currently climbing the AAA charts. Love this venue. Loved the show. Kaleo and Bishop Briggs put on one fantastic show.
Seen Kaleo in DC September 30, they were awesome! But seeing them right in my backyard at the house of blues was amazing! The opening acts were so good, I would see them again in a heartbeat ! Kaleo was even better a second time! Can't wait to see them again I have a feeling they will be around for many years
Went to see Kaleo, knew Bishop Briggs was great, got an amazing surprise in how terrific the Wind and the Wave was. Absolutely awesome show. So glad I always go for the opening acts!!
They absolutely crushed it! Amazing! Didn't know that much of their stuff, but they totally impressed me. Great vibe great sound!
This concert was amazing, probably the best event I've ever been to! They're songs are a great mix of rock and blues, with the incredible vocals that will blow your mind! It's honestly so much better to here Kaleo live than listen to their CD (which is still incredible)! The opening acts, especially Bishop Briggs, were also superb with clear and strong voices and great music variety.
This was my second time seeing Kaleo and they were incredible! First time at House of Blues Boston as well. Nice venue!
Kaleo will be one of my favorite bands forever and I'll go see them live anytime they come around. Phenomenal live performance and overall great music and super talented musicians. Wind and Bishop Briggs were awesome too!!Both def got a solid new fan.
INCREDIBLE! They are fantastic live and the opening acts were insanely good. Just wish they started on time because they came on after 9pm instead of at 8pm.
Kaleo is a perfect word for this band....."the sound". They have their own groove, and are a WONDERFUL reminder of Hendrix and Zeppelin. They are TIGHT!! We will being seeing them again. It is good to know that there is still music out there that can change your life. Thank You Kaleo GO SEE AND LISTEN
These guys have such a great mix of rock, blues and soul. Great music, great show, and really good openers too. I drove 2.5 hours to see them play and it was well worth it.
Me & my boyfriend thought this event was absolutely GREAT!!! First we didn't even know about "The Wind & Wave " performing,so that was like a bonus! And they Rocked as did Bishop Briggs, and of course Kaleo was like not only the icing on the cake but the cake and the presents and party and all The ROCKED!!!! The singer has such an amazing voice and so many different pitches that it's like listening to several people sing, and he is extremely easy on the eyes!!!I thought all 3 bands complemented each other beautifully. We will definitely be back to Center stage for more shows,it's a great venue, just the right size and an easy going atmosphere!!!!Highly recommend the show and the venue!!!!! Well worth the money!!!!!!!
So glad we got to see them in a small venue, because Kaleo is too good not to be playing in major arenas real soon. Great chemistry and musicianship throughout the band. Lead singer, JJ Julius Son is a mega-talent.
Bishop Briggs was awesome!! Kaleo killed it, they are so talented and I was blown away. So glad I got to see them while in Atlanta, would definitely go again.
I was looking forward to this show for a while and was not disappointed. Kaleo gave a solid performance. JJ's voice is unbelievable. I didn't realize who Bishop Briggs was but was pleasantly surprised at how powerful her voice is as well. I felt that the sound system in the venue was overwhelming but I really loved the sound... I must've missed the part on ticketmaster that allowed you to purchase seats instead of general admission-standing because that was the most uncomfortable part of the evening. I'd never been to Center Stage before and would've preferred to sit and enjoy rather than stand on cement for 3 hours. Still a really great show. The live performance of No Good was unparalleled.
One of the best concerts I have been to in awhile! Their opener Bishop Briggs was amazing as well!
Kaleo is amazing live. I had hoped they would be, and they blew my expectations out of the water. Their album is fantastic, but live, you get the raw, evocative quality of their music in full force which is what drew me to them in the first place. The Duck Room feels like seeing your favorite band in a basement show, and honestly Kaleo is going to be huge, very soon, so I'm glad I caught them here when I did! They played a lot from the album, but also a lot that wasn't, which I can appreciate. Can't wait to see them again!
An unforgettable show to say the least! They had so much chemistry and so much passion!! Will definitely be seeing them again when they return to St. Louis!!
Honest to goodness, this was the best concert I've been to. The group doesn't have a ton of songs out as of now, but good god they sound better than they do on the radio. Such amazing talent. It's not a fancy show---it's all about the music. And they totally delivered. Hope to see them again.
This band is going places! Their lead singer is something special. If you get a chance to see them, do it!
These guys are going to be big! They sound just like their soundtracks, even better live. I hope to get a chance to see them again soon, even if it means traveling to do it. They are worth it! Also, I can't wait to see what new music they have to share.
