    The Dinos are out here!!!

    by Esha40 on 4/25/24Katy Mills - Houston

I brought my 6 year-old niece to the Jurassic world exhibit on Monday since it was teacher in service day. We walked in and were the only people there so we had the whole place to ourselves. All of the attendants were so informative and polite. The exhibit was gorgeous and fun. The escape skit at the end with the T-rex was interactive. We had a great time.

    A Great Family Experience

by The Rodz Squad on 4/25/24Katy Mills - Houston

We have a Jurassic park enthusiast in our family and this was not only a wonderful experience for him but we all really enjoyed the different elements this expedition included. We were a bit late to our scheduled time but because there was no line it all worked out great and we got right in. Everyone was pleasant and the actors(tour guides) were right on cue with their lines. It was like we were part of a show at an amusement park. Of course some of it was clearly for young kids but we still participated in it all to get the full experience. It was a fun 30ish minutes! The ending scene was the coolest!!!

Okay but not worth the proce

by Smith on 4/24/24Katy Mills - Houston

The tickets were extremely high and the show only lasted an hr. The roaming of the Dinosaur come have match their mouths to make it more believable. The roaring was also very low. Very disappointed with the dinosaur and trainer , the trainer that opened the gate on the Dinosaur was okay but the dinosaur costume was HORRIBLE, why are we seeing the real person’s legs walking around in the dinosaur costume. That shows poor costumes design, my kid was not amazed and after that ready to go after that. I really wanted my money back because $93 for a poor performance was unacceptable.

    Cool but pricey and short

by Jamerson Yazzi on 4/20/24Katy Mills - Houston

Animatronics are Disney or Universal Studios grade but for 2 adults and a child was 103 and lasted 45 min. My 6 yr old had a good time. 30 for a stuffed animal at the end.

    It’s Alright

by K. Davis on 4/17/24Katy Mills - Houston

Definitely cool to see but in my opinion not worth the amount we paid. It’s over priced for what you get, but for kids 5 and under probably pretty amazing for them.

    Wow

by Glenn on 4/17/24Katy Mills - Houston

I took my two nieces, 8 and 6 years old. It was soo fun. As a 60+ year old geologist, it was a blast from the boat ride to the egg nursery, to the Giant dinosaur. It was very fun and informative. Alot of imagination was work went into it.

The wait in line was not worth the show

by Cheesey Tourist Trap on 4/16/24Katy Mills - Houston

First, the signage for how to actually get to the event is not super clear, so we walked all around Katy Mills Mall to find this place. Then, the signage to buy tickets points in two different directions, and in reality, the primary way to buy tickets is actually online only. We didn't buy tickets in advance because we didn't want to be locked into a time slot, but turns out that didn't really matter. When you enter, regardless of your ticketed time slot, you have to wait in line - for us, it was over 30 minutes for a 1-for experience. Even the experience itself was super crowded (50+ people per "tour"and it felt as if we were being rushed through). The only reason it's not 1 star is that the final T-Rex experience was pretty fun for my kids (agree 4 & 6). They loved the ending.

Very high production value, worth it

by Stellah on 4/10/24Katy Mills - Houston

Our 5 year old is obsessed with dinos and loves hybrids, so was really excited to see this exhibit. We've done a couple of dino exhibits before like Dinos Alive and Jurassic Quest and zoo exhibits etc. They are fine for kids but not very immersive. This one starts with a 'ferry' to the island and has actors all the way around leading you through and staying in character. The dino puppets/animatronics are very believable, seeing the babies is very cute. Be warned that at the end there is a simulated T Rex escape (she's still half behind a fence) - the staff pretend a gate is locked and you have to stay still then run when they finally get it open. My kid absolutely loved this and so did the rest of the kids, but there was a terrified little girl sobbing by the end so if you have kids who this might worry, prepare them beforehand.

    Fun!

    by Lain on 4/7/24

It was an experience. Loved all the interactions, the life like Dinosaurs, and the end was wow. Think the tickets are a little much for what it is but we had a good time.

    Terrific

by Ann on 4/7/24Katy Mills - Houston

The Jurassic World event was well done. They have it well organized, and well-staffed. You enter a 'boat' to take you to the island - the music was way too loud, minimal ability to hear the hostess. You are guided from room to room in the large tent. You do not get to view leisurely - they keep you on a schedule - and close the door behind the last one to leave the room. Entire event was about 45 minutes, which, of course, you end up in the gift shop.
