We love minor league baseball, but the beer tasting left much to be desired. They claimed they sold 1000 tickets for the beer tasting: if so, they were set up to handle about 300. Hot, crowded, long long lines to get a very small taste 'mug'. A great idea, but poorly planned. They needed more tables, more room, more servers. Great beers, great idea, just not well thought out.

The beer tent was very unorganized and over-crowded. It was frustrating to wait in line for each three-ounce beer for 20 minutes in a mob of people. I will never attend a similar event again.

    Disappointment at beer mug event

by Abaseballandbrewfan on 8/15/11Roger Dean Stadium - Jupiter

I have attened a number of baseball games at Roger Dean stadium and have had nothing but enjoyable times. This time I chose to attend the game that also had the beer tasting event tied to the game. The set-up was 20 micro breweries serving 20 samples for $20, it included the beer samples and game seemed like a no brainer. The disappointment came when there were so many people in such a tight space that there was no way you could get 20 samples even if you didn't attend any of the game. Most people just gave up and bought the micro brew for $7 from the vendor so they could go watch the game. Between buying 3 tickets for me, my wife and son. We ended up sampling six beers. Next time I will just buy the game ticket and purchase the beer directly rather than going through that arrangement.

Rained out on the 4th of july and left in the rain

by MistreatedFan on 7/6/11Roger Dean Stadium - Jupiter

I am the holder of 4 tickets to last year's (2010) 4th of july game. That particular game was rained out and everyone went home wet and with spirits somewhat dampened because there was supposed to be a great fireworks display after the game. Due to summer vacation, business travel, the start of school and other activities during the summer we were unable to attend any other games. The unused tickets sat there. Recently I engaged the box office at Roger Dean and "kindly" asked if they could extend replacement tickets for the ones we never used. The answer was a flat out NO WAY. This is somewhat disheartening given the fact that we have been long time patrons of Roger Dean and state league baseball.

    No what we paid for.....

by conchytonker on 6/19/11Roger Dean Stadium - Jupiter

Went to a Jupiter Hammerheads game. Promotion for the game was called Thirsty Thursday. Beer was supposed to be sold at $2.00. Not only was that promoition cancelled without our knowledge when we purchased the tickets, it was "Summer Day Camp Day". No beer sales for the few non attached Day Camp Adults that attended. Made it nearly impossible to enjoy the event. We left after the 2nd inning. Total dissapointment, and waste of money.

GOOD GAME; ALL U CAN EAT - NOT SO GOOD!

by hellokitty999 on 6/12/11Roger Dean Stadium - Jupiter

The game was quite enjoyable! It was entertaining and the weather was perfect. The wing nite was not so good - wings not available for much of the time, hot wings were not so good....it closed earlier than advertised so when we went back a half hour prior to scheduled close, there were no wings and very little other food.

Roger Dean Stadium is a great place to watch baseball as it is intimate and friendly. I love minor league baseball and my son and I enjoyed ourselves tremendously. By the way, the food, we had Dean Dogs and cheeseburgers, was very good - frankly, better than at many big-league parks. Jupiter is only about an hour north of Fort Lauderdale and the ride and parking are easy and well worth the event.

    Minor Leaguers

by Sporthrob on 8/7/10Roger Dean Stadium - Jupiter

game was boring until the last couple of innings. these are young kids trying their hardest. In between innings promotions were sometimes fun. sound effects were intersting. Firworks a good way to end the evening.

    Where are all the people?

by Bandana on 5/25/10Roger Dean Stadium - Jupiter

A little disappointed that they couldn't draw more than 75 people to a baseball game. It was so quiet you could hear echos. Other than that, it was baseball, in Florida and we had our choice of seats.

    Kids had a blast!

by redfishgator on 5/18/10Roger Dean Stadium - Jupiter

First time taking the family to a minor league game and the kids had a blast. From the beginning playing catch with me on the outfield, to running the bases after the game. My son’s best parts were getting a foul ball, autographs from all the Hammerhead players and giving them knuckle bombs. My daughter’s best moment was trading a rubber band bracelet with a player (a sun traded for a hammer), a foul ball and autographs from all the Hammerhead players as well. Great family time well spent! They can’t wait to do it again.

Just the way I like it.

by Softcoated on 4/26/10Roger Dean Stadium - Jupiter

An all around great day at the ballgame. Great seats. Low price. Local heroes vs out-of-towners. Blunder by one of the local heroes loses the game, yet still a great day.

Great game, better than big leagues!

by JohnsonMcFifty on 7/12/09Roger Dean Stadium - Jupiter

I've become a Hammerheads fan. These players are quite good and the game went into extra innings with a walk-off homer. For the price, you can't be this cool little stadium!
