About

The one and only Joyner Lucas will tour Australia and New Zealand for the very first time this August. The

Massachusetts-based rapper will be stopping by Sydney, Perth, Brisbane and Melbourne, bringing with him

a highly entertaining and energetic show

Lucas is readying his debut album, following his critically acclaimed mixtape 508-507-2209, as well as a

joint album with his "Stranger Things" & “I Don’t Die” collaborator Chris Brown titled Angels and

Demons. The duo released "Stranger Things" earlier this year following a solo single titled “Frozen” and

as of recently “I Don’t Die” (w/ Chris Brown)

Lucas signed to Atlantic Records on September 21, 2016. Lucas went on to release a project

titled 508-507-2209 on June 16, 2017, with Atlantic Records. The mixtape charted at #7 on the Heatseekers

Albums chart on Billboard and contained the singles "I'm Sorry", "Ultrasound" and "Winter Blues".

On November 28, 2017, Lucas released his single "I'm Not Racist", onto his YouTube account which

quickly went viral. The song is controversial, rapping about race and society, and race relations from the

perspective of a white man, and a black man.

There were a lot of opening acts but the DJ was good. A lot of people got exhausted by the time they were done but Joyner hyped it up again of course. Everyone was mad chill and Joyner did great. I was expecting his performance to be a little longer but he performed well enough that I wasn’t too disappointed about that. He came out into the crowd and just kept the energy up. Overall, it was a good time.
