Josh Ritter and his band play amazing songs about Westerns, trains, love and heartbreak. I don't know if there is a better stage performer than Josh Ritter as far as Americana/folk singers go. Even in his mid-40's, he's got the enthusiasm (and energy) of a teenager, but the soul and voice of a real troubadour, rustic and historic in his songwriting abilities and crooner voice. He played many songs from his new album, as well as many of his older songs that are more well known. His beloved Royal City Band adds an additional layer to his music that enhances the depth beyond what was already there.
