    Best concert of my life

by Aly on 6/9/19Varsity Theater - Minneapolis

Josh carries an unmatched brilliance in his artistry. These songs are set apart, being inspired by heaven, and as Josh sings, you FEEL the intimacy he has with God. The authenticity that’s imparted when he speaks and tells stories is refreshing. It’s evident he’s not trying to please anyone but God through his life and gift of music. A true gem in the industry. I would go to all four shows on this tour if I could.

    Blinded by the Light

by MsPilates on 10/18/17House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

Josh was as good as he always is, if not better. Venue was good but the downside was the lights either beaming into audience (before show) or worse during show FLASHING into our eyes. Gave me a headache.

Josh Garrels is gifted singer/story teller.

by Anonymous on 10/18/17House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

Enjoyed an evening of food and amazing concert. The venue is large but still has an intimate feel. My only complaint is that the show started late and there was too much time between opening act and Josh. Well worth the wait though!

    Go see Josh Garrels!!

by JS2017 on 10/15/17The Belasco Theater - Los Angeles

This was the first concert I believe I've ever paid for and it was very much worth all of it. Josh Garrels and the rest of the guys are absolutely amazing musicians and seem like some of the most down-to-earth and just really authentic people you could go to see play. We walked from our hotel to the Belasco Theatre (about 2 miles) and the initial 2 hours of standing was getting pretty difficult, but as soon as they came out to play, I was hooked until the end (and still singing the whole way back). I'm not usually one for concerts honestly, as I'm typically just content with blasting the music in my house or car or watching live from home, but hearing and seeing them live transforms how you hear their music later and it is so powerful. I feel blessed to have been introduced to their music some years ago. This is the direction the industry is going and I can't wait for it! The only reason it's not 5 stars is because of the show starting later than expected and there being no place to sit in the theatre until the opening performer started (otherwise, we would have been fine waiting even longer if needed). Plus, a single water bottle was $5 and you can't bring your own in. We were dehydrated and caved for a water to share. The lighting was awesome and the distance to the stage with the amount of people was ideal for me. However, with all that in mind, I will hopefully get to go see Josh Garrels and the band play again, but will be avoiding the Belasco Theatre for any future shows.

    Revelators Revelated !!

by WYLSYD on 3/1/17House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

What a concert ... Josh Garrels was right on ... his voice is distinctively amazing, the music unparalleled. What a genuine man, his music message clear .. he is the real deal !! Great set list ... Hiding Places was awesome live !! Loved watching the chemistry on stage, not only within the bands, but between the bands .... John Mark McMillan really knows how to engage a crowd, the bass player is really intriguing ... They all played their hearts out ... John Mark broke into some Springsteen which surprised us, then the bands got together at the end to unify the house singing U2 ... "Pride"

Josh Garrels can sing....wow....and also put out a great concert. He's also funny. I am so glad I had the opportunity to see him. I would recommend anyone who loves folk music and Christian music in general to see him and his posse play. Cannot wait to see him again.
