Josh Abbott Band Tickets

My wife and I had been to HOB before to see Wade Bowen and Randy Rogers, it was a GREAT CONCERT!! We were excited to see Josh Abbott Band, but left somewhat disappointed. The music was so loud you couldn’t hear Josh Abbott singing. I really think he’s one of the best singers in the Texas Country Music scene, but we couldn’t hear him over his band. We didn’t come to hear an instrumental, we came to hear Josh Abbott. The only part that you were truly able to hear him singing was when he did the “bluegrass” segment of the concert. It was great, but the before and after that segment was not very good. I’m mixed on whether or not I’ll return to HOB for another concert.

It sounded like the speakers were blown. Everyone in our section left the seats it was so bad

The House of Blues was an awesome venue for JAB - hope they play there again! Great show, great mix of old and new songs, and the atmosphere was so fun!

Great ensemble, loved the addition of the brass. Very talented band.

Not sure if it was the venue or who’s fault but, If you didn’t know the words to the songs then you wouldn’t know what they are saying. Music over powered the lyrics. Really ruined it for me and the lady. We walked around to see if it was just where we stood but to us it was everywhere

Josh Abbott and his band put on a great show and were very entertaining. House of Blues Dallas fell way short as a venue. The sound quality of their PA system was horrible! We sat in the balcony left and there was a ton of distortion. It was bad enough that my wife said something and a few people around us also mentioned it when they heard us talking about it. We got up and stood in the back of the balcony and it sounded slightly better but still awful. We had friends in the GA floor and they texted and asked if it sounded bad up where we were also. Mentioned the issue to a few HOB staff people that don’t even work in the same area and was told that the sound quality is always bad. One staff person even said it sounded better than normal but agreed it wasn’t good. This used to be one of my favorite venues in Dallas. I don’t know if I would pay any money to go back though. JAB gets 4 stars as musicians HOB gets 0 stars as a concert venue

The venue was not crazy big but it was still fun and had the big scene vibe. JAB put on one hell of a show that you won't get anywhere else except for at Moody Theatre.

This was the best Josh Abbott concert I've ever attended. The venue was amazing but the energy JAB brought was incredible. The surprise horn ensemble and bluegrass change up just added to the already electric buzz going through the venue.

Loved this band! So much talent in the group. Loved the added horn players.

We actually enjoyed the opener Hailey Whitters more than Josh Abbott Band. I like their music, but the instruments were so loud that we could barely hear/understand the vocals.

The Josh Abbott Band put on an excellent show! I can’t believe the crowd was so small for such a great band. The music was amazing and I loved every minute.

I have wanted to see him for many years. To finally hear him sing She’s Like Texas in person was the best.

This was the closest we were ever able to get to the stage. I’ve seen Josh in a lot of cities but never been able to get this close!

JAB always puts on a great show and this one did not disappoint!

Love Josh Abbott Band and am so thankful they came all the way to Indy to play! They put on a great show, as usual, and the venue was much better than I’d anticipated. Good drinks, friendly people and a good sized crowd having a good time. Loved it!

We did not know there would be an opening band...that was terrible. Then it took FOREVER for the new set up for the JAB. The music was OKish at best. People were snoozing and leaving all around us and 1/4 of the crowd was in the lobby visiting. We finally left also and had way more fun on the street. They have potential but are not entertainers for a live venue at all.

The Josh Abbott Band performed an excellent concert in New York City at the Gramercy Theatre on 11/9/2017. They sang many of new and older hits. As a bonus to their own band to having even more live music on stage, they also had a 3 piece horn section and a 2 piece string section performing with them on stage. This was really an excellent concert.

The artists all performed great and the venue was clean, the hill areas had plenty of wind to keep us cool and drinks were always cold.

Had an amazing time with the family weather was perfect, good venue set up it was just a wonderful experience.

I couldn't have had more fun. I bought the VIP tickets and it was way worth it. The talent at this event was unbelievable. The event was on time and well organized. One thing to know if we're going is it's all cash so come prepared.
