One of the most enduring shows of all time, Tim Rice & Andrew Lloyd Webber's JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT is the irresistible family musical about the trials and triumphs of Joseph, Israel's favorite son.
Directed and choreographed by Tony® Award-winner Andy Blankenbuehler, this new production will feature Broadway/television star Diana DeGarmo (Hairspray, Hair) as The Narrator and Broadway star Ace Young (Grease, Hair) as Joseph.
Retelling the Biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colors, this magical musical is full of unforgettable songs including Those Canaan Days, Any Dream Will Do and Close Every Door. Book your tickets and be part of the magic!

Loved every moment as much as the original production in NY.
This was a great version of an older show. Narrator, and the entire cast, were very talented.
I am a huge Joseph fan and looked forward to introducing the pure joy & fun of this musical to my youngest. What has happened to Joseph?? Please tell me that this was a church group or touring college production and that a percentage of ticket sales went to charity ... otherwise there's no excuse for what we endured last night. No set but some boxes, stairs and cut-out glitter coated plywood sheep. No costumes of any color or substance. "Spectacle" was left to muddy projected images on curtains or the casts ever present plain white clothes. Cheap production and it looked it! This could have been overlooked had there been any chemistry between cast and audience, but sadly there was none. Sadder still, I have no suggestions on how to fix this. The cast was filled with decent singers and dancers, but it all felt so mediocre and half-hearted. The one exception to this was "Those Caanan Days" where things finally came together. The number was beautifully choreographed, the singing was brilliant ... and the cast seemed to be having as much fun as the audience. It was an exceptional number, proving that the missing elements of costume and prop have no bearing IF the production works. It may be just me. I saw this the last time it came through town. It's hard to top Sam Harris and a cast that was so infused with energy they had the audience on their feet and literally dancing in the aisles. This production was so flat in comparison I wish I'd saved my money #and memories# and just listened to the CD at home. Joseph was made for camp, spectacle and fun ... they've somehow managed to strip all these essential elements from the current production. Sadly, it's a "No, no, no, Joseph" from me.
I didn't know what to expect from this performance, so was pleasantly surprised when it included a little of everything - singing, dancing, colorful costumes. The narrator had the main role to keep audience informed about each scene. She was excellent. A little bit of humor from Pharaoh as he begged for money and a little bit of money and applause from the audience.
The show was great. Narrator was done by understudy but she proved to to be capable of doing a wonderful job. Only let down was that I thought the Pharaoh role was weak in the Elvis impersonation. He sang well. That character is supposed to be an excessive presentation of Elvis. The ensemble did a fantastic job with the bowls and knives keeping rhythm and having all movements synced.
5 stars!! Great to get quality shows without having to travel to NYC
The cast had talent galore! Their voices unforgettable. Choreography was top notch. Both of my kids have taken jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, & modern for 6+ years each and they were totally impressed and loved the musical on a technical level as well! We drove home singing all the songs. The Megamix at the end left you wanting more! They received a standing ovation- which was a no-brainier. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have not seen this show in over 20 years and it was just as good as I remembered, if not better! Very well updated and the performers were terrific! We had a great time!
The dancing was the best part. Great moves, exquisite synchronization, expressive of plot. Music was good, but PAINFULLY excessively amplified -- too loud!
Excellent show. Great lead singers! Beautiful and creative scenery! teriffic cast. It was worth seeing.Although I would like to have seen a little more exciting choreography in the number for " Go go go Joseph." Otherwise it was an Excellent performance.
I had seen "Joseph..." starring Don Osmond in Toronto decades ago and totally enjoyed the production. I wasn't sure if this production would be of the same caliber. I was not disappointed. I, along with a friend, very much enjoyed the recent show in Syracuse. The time went by very quickly...too quickly!! It's a lively, upbeat rendition of Joseph and his brothers from the Bible.
very good, even m 14 year old granddaughter enjoyed it.
I've seen Joseph many times in a variety of setting with a variety of casts so I can be a tough critic. So take my comments in that context. All in all the show was fine. Cast was talented and they made each other look good but there were no real standouts besides the narrator - who was exceptional - and one of the brothers who played well to the audience on Those Canaan Days. There were some unnecessary visual effects that distracted from the cast. The opening was weak as they made a failed attempt to tie a modern and frankly awkward bent to the show. But after that misstep, the rest of the evening was entertaining.
While enjoyed this show, it left me feeling as though it was high school or college production. The narrators voice was very screeching at time. Joseph was very good BUT the lights flashing and strobe like were very annoying. Not great but not awful.
What an amazing show. Energetic from beginning to end. Visually stimulating and a beautiful biblical story injected with humor. Loved the music and dancing! There was practically every genre music represented.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is one of my all-time favorite musicals. The Broadway tour that we saw in Scranton was absolutely amazing. If I could see it again I would.
Show was awesome! Felt like getting up and dancing! Still playing the songs and singing along!
Totally awesome! The music was fantastic and the performers were excellent!
My friend and I really enjoyed this show. The narrator was amazing, and the ensemble was very good. The dance numbers were very high energy. The actor playing Joseph, however, was a bit disappointing. He wasn't bad, but he was definitely the weakest link in the cast. "Close Every Door" was very good, but at other points, particularly in "Go Go Go Joseph," his vocals were weak and slightly off.
Amazing, exciting and fun. High energy performance, Bravo to performers. I'd see it again anytime. Also, had great seats!
