JOHNNYSWIM IN CONCERT:
For nearly a decade, Nashville-based folk and blues duo Johnnyswim has been captivating concertgoers with their bluegrass-influenced guitar strumming, soulful harmonica riffs, and pitch-perfect harmonies. At their live shows the pair deliver their boot-stomping tracks with plenty of energy and starry-eyed wonder, making for a feel-good concert experience that's sure to please. From the driving beat of "Home" to the soaring vocal interplay of "Diamonds", Johnnyswim treats fans to a vibrant and dynamic live show that perfectly matches the exuberance of their stirring sound.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Johnnyswim was formed in Nashville in 2005 by singer Amanda Sudano and singer-songwriter Abner Ramirez. Sudano boasts a first-rate musical pedigree -- the daughter of disco icon Donna Summer, she grew up touring the world with her mother as a backup singer. She began working with Ramirez after attending a songwriter seminar he hosted in 2005, and the rest is history. They released their self-titled debut EP in 2008, and in 2009 they got married. Following a tour in India that benefitted orphan children, Johnnyswim released the 2012 EP Home, Vol. 1, which they supported with appearances on The Tonight Show and the radio variety program A Prairie Home Companion. In 2014 Johnnyswim released their debut full-length Diamonds, a stellar collection of tunes that has fans eager to catch them on their upcoming tour dates.

by Amazing Show!! on 9/8/23House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoThe Venue at The House of Blues that hosted Johnnyswim was absolutely amazing, great views all around, fun atmosphere & great lighting! The opening act of Johnnyswim’s concert for this tour was great. Johnnyswim as always provided an amazing show and sang a few new tunes for us to enjoy! Great living room feel from the theme of stories as the setting was presented! I will definitely go back to The House of Blues whenever my next favorite artist is in town & of course I can’t wait for another JS concert near my area in the future!

by LaLaAkin on 12/9/22The Charleston Music Hall - CharlestonCharleston music hall is such an intimate venue, which I love! Having the tickets scanned right on the phone was nice too. Literally only thing is how tight the foyer is to the theatre when the line for the bar gets cramped, when bar line upstairs is empty. Maybe just letting people with upstairs tickets know there is a bar up there will help this even out. Overall lovely evening and experience.
